A quick note on the life insurance ad on the plane. Back in the mid 60s my father would fly out of capital airport in Springfield Illinois on Ozark Airlines DC3 aircraft. In the airport lobby there were 4-5 vending machines where you could purchase a life insurance policy on the passenger for that particular flight. Never gave a much younger me a warm feeling about my dad boarding flights then.

It's kind of funny to have that sort of advertisement, but I have heard that many decades ago (maybe 1960's) Life Insurance companies made a good business by having sign-up kiosks for life insurance in airports just before boarding the airplane! Well, back then people were more nervous about flying, and in truth the airplanes were more dangerous too.

Great review, Noel. Although, I have never stepped foot in India, and do not plan to any time soon, I will surely take your word for it and never fly this airline. Also how did SpiceJet not bat an eye that 3 tickets were booked for the same seat on the same plane for the exact same time and place! Anyways, Loved the video, it was funny and entertaining.

I really disagree with you Indian airlines is the worst airlines in India actually one time I travelled to Dubai from Kochi and it was a direct flight but due to some technical issues it stopped in Bangalore and I was like frustrated like it was my first trip to Dubai so airlines operating in India all are worst still I think Indigo is better

I know that people see all this travel as some kind of glamourous life which I get as travel is out of reach for most where I live anyhow. But I would rather have a tooth pulled than deal with most airlines. My anxiety kicks off watching others have to deal with the perpetual bs of airline travel its always a virtual hostage situation

The bus takes you in a way that folks don't get to see the planes and activity at the Air Force base.
Indian Air Force. Ranked third biggest and most powerful air force in the world.
Way bigger than the RAF.
Same for the Indian Army and the Indian Navy.
Britain now is a spent power, living in an Imperial Hangover!

What an unpleasant flight and you paid for it 3 times. I don't think I could have been that nice to everyone especially when they were trying g to get more money from you at checking. Hope corporate sees this video and puts a stop to this unfair business practice. Good luck getting your money back.

Sausages are not a part of Indian cuisine, firstly learn something about food and then say whatever you want to say and Indian food is very colorful and delicious, the food that you order is not Indian, it is a English breakfast - omlette and sausages and from next time, think what you are saying

Welcome Noel to one of the the fastest growing airport in India. Darbhanga actually has lot of history but just like many places in India its under cover and its now more a hinterland to metros of India. These areas will get upgraded soon. Keep coming to the fastest growing market

Correction pls the groundhandling which Made the Push back Crashed the plane Intro the Lamp Post but the Airline is very very suspishous rather the booking and all Other Thinge Happening on This Flight. Thanks dir your expereance will Not take that Airline at all

Finding out that Darbhanga is in Bihar, you should reconsider your criticism of this airport. Its likely one of the most high tech and clean places in Bihar!
(ppl in India tend to make jokes about Bihar, which seems a bit unfair as its one of the poorest states)

In march i wanted to fly from Udaipur to Goa via Mumbai with SpiceJet, but on board of the first flight they canceled the second flight and i ended up running around in Mumbai to get my luggage and to find another flight to Goa. The Airline is an absolute mess.

I went for hajj in SpiceJet
Their service is the worst of all
Their air hostess are rude and specifically disrespectful towards elders

This airline still exists because its promoter is a buddy of the PM of India. Half the fleet grounded and several defaulter lawsuits against it. Gosh what a waste of airport space and aircrafts this crappy airline is.

You should have done your research properly. Not all airports in India good. Many airports are just being created and Darbhanga is not a traditional flight location. If you should have flow direct to Delhi.
