You truly show it all from the grandeur to the total depravity of the area. #1) how are you able to find the roughest areas everywhere you travel #2) I would love to know how you are able to travel as much as you do I myself enjoy travel and have seen many of the cities and back roads that you have experienced. #3) Be safe out there!

Wow, I was stunned to see New Orleans is the murder capital of the U. S. now. They city once had soul (both kinds) and culture. Now, it is just a level of hell. I was born and raised there. My family is buried there. I would never return there for any reason now. I would like to visit the cemeteries to pay respects to beloved family members, but that has been a very dangerous proposition for decades now. You can never go home again.

Not many towns downtown has lot of traffic. Every thing is closed in my small town. Only bussiness's open are the food restaurants that sell alcohol on Sundays now. Matter of fact they pretty much the only bussiness that get any bussiness. This is the so called revitalation of my town. Without them the town would be nothing but empty buildings. I live in what is called the upstate S. C.

My mother was from Edinburgh, Scotland. She used to tell me stories about living in Leith as a kid and about the 200 year-old stone buildings in which folks still lived. She said that the stone steps were literally worn from wear and tear. BUT the difference/point of my story is: they were more in tact and presentable than America's rotting houses from the - say - 1900 era.

we all know WHY these cities are in ruins, but if you say who is responsible, then you get labeled, the bad guy! that's what wrong in this country, you NO longer have free speech, because you might upset the cart of social sensitivities, if you point the finger at the real culprits!

The big difference between philly and a lot of these other cities is the places that are absolutely thrash have a lot of people activity in philly but the other cities where it looks super run down doesnt have a lot of people crawling around.

So sad generations of people have let their areas and families deteriorate without some sort of self awareness or intervention. I come from rural small towns and see the same things except for those willing to have self responsibility

It, s a shame to see and to know that their are lot of states in the us that was abandoned and ruined because of poverty and criminal activities.
I think these issues must resolve first before going to war on other nations.

Detroits the worst by far, they don’t document 90% of murders that happen in the abandon houses. you don’t want to get stuck in the bad areas at night. Gangs don’t even operate there. It goes by blocks

Kansas City, Missouri should be renamed Missouri City, Missouri to avoid confusion with Kansas City, Kansas. For the city already named Missouri City, the people should rename it something else, LOL.

i grew up in an area that ranks i think 30 something percent in violent crimes, nearest big city is upper 40% in violent crimes. I cant imagine even worse. No thank you.
