If you ever come back, here are more things you might want to check out: 1) St. John's Island (a neighboring island you have to take a ferry to, 2) The Dairy Farm Nature Park - home to one of only a few stone quarries in Singapore, 3) A walk around the Chinese Gardens, 4) Haw Par Villa for a taste of Singapore's past, 5) Garden's by the Bay, 6) The Singapore ArtScience Museum, 7) Cafe hopping (there's always one around, 8) Feeding the ducks and fish at the Botanical Gardens, 9) The zoos and birdparks we have, 10) Cycling around Punggol Waterway and 11) waiting for the sun to go down while sitting on the steps outside the Esplanade (my personal favorite.

Right on, good stuff. I spent a couple days in Singapore, but definitely missed a lot of the major sights. By the way, funny to see you guys (or maybe just one of you) pop up on Periscope the other day Alicia just wanted to show me how it works, so it was a surprise to see you watching out of the blue. Wondering if it was recommended to you because we were in your hometown? We had just watched a couple of your videos the night before, so were all whaaaaaaat? Now they're watching us? Ha ha. Anyway take it easy, happy trails.

My personal highlight are definitely the Supertrees, Gardens by the Bay at night, especially the lightshow (shot some really cool timelapses there. Sentosa is a pretty interesting experience. I remember sitting on the beach, casually digging in the sand and finding out, there is just concrete after about 10cm. What a hoax: DNonetheless, Singapore is one of my favorite cities so far, very clean, futuristic and a perfect hub in the middle of South-East Asia

This makes me miss Singapore so much I lived there for five years and went back for a visit for the first time in ten years last May. One thing that I did on my visit that I'd recommend was going on an 11km walk through the MacRitichie Reservoir. There were monkeys and a beautiful treetop walk (: (I made an amateur compilation video if anyone wants to check out more of Spore)
