Well I guess I'm doing it right: D 25 and done all of those 13 trips over the last 6-7 years. and I'm of course currently travelling. 1) Well I'm from Europe but I did travel through Europe with friends. 2) My first big trip was 17 months long straight after school (AUS, NZ and SEA. 3) Most of my trips were and are solo trips, you are never alone for long, meeting amazing people from all over the world (and girls: get out there There is nothing scary about travelling alone as a female. 4) Free spirit travelling atm in the Americas. 5) Festivals: mostly slackline (sport) festivals but thrown 1-2 music festivals in there too. 6) Love ohh yeah, made such great connections with beautiful people (well guys in my case, it really teaches you to enjoy the time you have with a significant other because your travels might part you rather sooner than later (btw my parents met on a flight to Turkey; ). 7) Dirt-bag trip: well most of my trips (mainly slacklining and climbing while camping or staying at friends places. 8) Climbed mountains in a lot of places especially to rock-climb and highline. 9) Cultural immersion: always as much as possible with (new and old) friends from all over the world them showing me their places. 10) Meaningful travel: sharing knowledge, teaching and helping people doing various things in different countries: . wait hmm 13 points? well maybe some of them were the work and holiday visa (done in NZ and AUS) and learning new languages (English, French, and trying to learn Spanish, Portugiese and Thai, with German as my mother tongue. greetings from Mexico

I'm from europe and the part where you say that we can travel for months trough our entire life is absolutly not true We go to school till the age of 18 and most of us also start working at that age like myself There are a group of people that go to college but it's not as commen as it is in america. So that being said we also only have 2 weeks per year we can travel and that is if you are lucky cause i had years that i only got like 5 days legaly. not bacause i didn't work or have a job. but because the job that i had was realy up to the season and so i had to work realy hard 9 to 10 months a year and then have a lot less to do those 2 remaining months when i still got side jobs and stayed busy. but to the gouverment here consistency mathers and because i had those 2 onstable months they didn't think i had the right to have 2 weeks off. now i have changed my job i have te work a lot less, and a lot less houres a week but is do have consistency troughout the year and now i have a lot more legal rights So a word of advice. if you are european don't work youre ass off to hard cause it won't get you anyrhing more in life And if you are american be happy with all the chances you get cause not everywhere in the world you can get as much freedome

Most REAL JOBS are temporary jobs; heck why not blow some of that teenager savings in Asia they have already a handle of the American Free Trade Market. Think of it this way they're bound to get it anyway (if you can't beat 'em join 'em. HAHA real job Say yes to life yes say no to commercial Idioms and removal from man into embracing your strawman soon to be measured through your vein signature through the pristine maping of google maps (buying up copy rights and mass talent from all facets and reassembling to suite their end game; sourced through think tank organizations) - trust me Traveling a great way to discover there is no brotherhood of separatists (not patriot activists) but instead a Globalist ONE WORLD ORDER apprehended immerse yourself through your SMART DEVICE being how un-smart you are to know your strawman is not your property and yes RUN off and travel I am 'The People', and Neither are you

Just discovered the Vagabrothers and you guys ROCK I am a travel addict and don't plan on stopping anytime soon I just turned 37 and booked a 10 week trip all over Europe I am a bartender in NYC and one of the reasons why I am still working in this industry (as tiring as its getting) is that it allows me the freedom to take off and see the world Travel is sooo important to me. I cannot imagine ever having a 9-5 job with only 2 weeks paid vacation a year NOPE Not for me Travel is my drug I need it And as they say life is short, you only live once so do what makes you happy: ) Im just worried because I cannot bartend forever but would ultimately LOVE to get paid to travel the world Do the vagabrothers have any tips on the topic of getting paid to travel/while traveling? Love the videos that I've watched so far. Looking forward to checking more out Thanks guys

Is it good that I'm 16 and already planning on travel plans with my best friends like right after high school we're going to go on a road trip and then after college we want to try and go on a world trip and see you like the world wonders and thanks for the ideas I really like the idea of backpacking in Europe I've heard it come up so many times when people talk about travel and I think it would be awesome because I've never really got to experience the world because of my past and my family now is great but they can be a little confining to what I do and it is kind a hard to discover myself and see what I would do because I always have this little voice in the back my head thing on ice not safe and not clean or whatever but I hope I get to spread out and discover myself one day thank you for all the help I love your videos and you guys

Thanks for this video. Im about to finish uni and i am 21, everybody around me is starting their life. Getting the real j o b, living together with s/o etc. I really dont feel like that is what i want right now. I am happy for them and i have to admit that it feels like i am getting behind on them in life. It feels like i am doing something wrong by not starting my serious adult life. I am not sure if it is them judging me or it is me assuming they will judge me, but something makes me feel like i am doing something wrong. This video made me realize that my choice to travel and not be an adult for a while yet, is also a good one. Because i am going to learn a lot and i still have plenty time left after this.

This video really hits home for me. I want to thank you guys so much for creating your videos. I was working a high-stress, high pay job in finance and stumbled across your Winter Eurail series several years ago. I ended up quitting at 25, joining the Peace Corps in Tanzania and finished my 27 month commitment last August. I've since visited Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal, Ecuador, Chile and Bolivia. I really have you guys to thank for helping me discover my passion. I'm really living the dream now I'll be living in Lagos, Nigeria for the next 7 months and would love to host you guys/show you around if you ever choose to visit AfricaCheers, Parchulis

I spent the overwhelming majority of my 20's in school and working. I went on one big trip when I was 23 for a month in the Philippines and had the absolute best time of my life. I spent the following years still in school and working and only traveling within my country (Canada. I'm turning 33 in a few months and have finally woken up to life and will start travelling even in the midst of a career. I'm starting my 2 week travel Indonesia then start going down that bucket list as often as I can. I feel like when you're travelling older, it's not as colorful of an experience when you were 20 but you do gain a bit more of an appreciation of life.

I want to do the work and travel in Australia, its been a dream of mine for years. I also want to go back to America and visit more places, a year wasnt enough. Learn Spanish and spend time in Spain. Canada has been a dream of mine too. I just hope I get healthy again before I turn 30. I only have 4 more years. I know about meaningful travel. Ive been a volunteer in India and au pair in America. Ive learned so many things about the world and myself. Theres so much more to learn and see. I have an itch to travel. Too bad my body gave out when I was just starting. But I havent lost hope.

I have always wanted to 'backpack across Europe' and I am finally putting my foot down and doing it no matter what anyone says. I am 52 and I will be backpacking solo in Europe for about a month. Got the plane ticket, the Eurail pass, a couple of things planned (3 concerts) but for most of the trip nothing is planned. I know there are some places I want to see and things I want to do but if I don't get to them that's ok cause I plan on going back for more time after I take care of a few things in the states when I get back.
