Ive dreamed of living in the Shetland Islands since I was a little kidMy friends wanted to stay in Italy, that 3rd world country warzone infested by pollution and mafiaI always was the different kid because I wanted harsh weather, cold temperatures and wanted to live in a sparsely populated incontaminated place and not in a boiling pot of chaos and corruption Im still looking for a home in the Shetland Islands and I dont know which one I should take, but Im going to move there and die there as a Scot Not as a mediterranean

Excellent video, it's good that you're exploring parts of Scotland of the beaten track. The nation has a number of stunning islands: Skye, Mull, Lewis and Fair Isle. to name but a fewThe Shetland Islands are about 60 degrees north in terms of latitude.

Could you guys make a video of a females perspective of travel. I bet Carrie may have more things to pack? Also when traveling do you guys get currency before arriving to the country or beforehand? What credit card would you guys suggest?

Fantastic video and majestic scenery If anyone is interested there is an excellent British crime drama set in these islands called Shetland - if you can get access it well worth watching. It features these islands.

Dont know if they say in video or if someone has commented but the ponies are Called Shetland Ponies and theyre very intelligent animals, also very tiny (28-42 inches tall) - originating on the island

It would take at least 3 months to see the whole of Scotland e. g. from Mull of Kintyre to the Shetland Islands and back down to the Borders. Its a fly/drive fantasy trip that wont disappoint.
