I love watching your updates. You're doing so well. I start my own hike tomorrow. Continue to be safe and good luck. btw, thanks for the tour of West Point. One of my childhood dreams was to become a Marine but things didn't work out for me. Also, you're brave to be climbing ladders while videoing and holding hiking rods. lol Love your style Dixie: )

Everytime I see videos of folks hiking the AT I'm reminded why it is on my bucket list. Now I'm old now and haven't hiked since getting out of the service over 2 decades ago. Seein your videos does make me think about giving the AT to myself as a 50th birthday present. I'm gonna have to think on that. Thanks for sharing your time with us.

New York is my home state. I live near Niagara Falls, but it was a great time to see the city, a few years ago. It was surreal to see stand in the footprints of one the Twin Towers. I also the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building. I loved the views of Bear MT. Also, the trail magic, was nice and I hope you enjoyed the food

Dixie, at 8: 52 - Did you get up that, and if so, how? I live near there and hiked there the other day. I could not figure how to get over that one big boulder and had to go around, but would loooove your secret! Nobo next year, getting ready by getting addicted to your videos!

I'm just an old guy who will probably never get to hike the trail, but I am thoroughly enjoying it through your videos. You are an absolutely delightful young lady and I wish you all the best!

I'm trying to imagine how long before NH and Maine come into play. If she's aiming for completion this season, it'll be getting much colder before she hits the 100 miles wilderness.

I have the Mens version of your Osprey pack and find it's a tad uncomfortable to wear a tank top or sleeveless when using it. Was yours like that in the beginning?

New Jersey does it right with those walkways. No more sludging through water and mud. Everything everywhere is spectacular. Thank you for sharing your trek.
