Alex! Great video! Did you get a chance to hear the sound system Comparing this to the Cadillac Lyriq which would you say was more quiet I have the Lyriq but I want to get the polestar. Also I think you should get the one you drove, that way if I get one I can watch your videos for any trouble shooting or anything you may mention! Please let me know your thoughts!

I am pretty happy with my boring Model Y. no trying to figure out where to charge when on a road trip. Plenty of space and plenty of power. No brainer.
Besides, when are electrical cars become efficiency oriented instead of performance oriented. Those wheel are gigantic and they can not be rotated because tires are not the same dimensions front and back.

Polestar's finances are pretty questionable. They still haven't released their 2023 annual report, Volvo divested much of their ownership, Nasdaq sent a delinquency notice for not filing their annual report.
They need to clean up their finances if they want to sell cars.

I hate that these viable Tesla alternatives all seem to be using the same cost cutting (MiNiMaliSt) techniques. Removing buttons for everyday use features is not progress, it's just cheap.

I could tell you the difference between an EV6 and an EV9, an Ioniq 5 and Ionic 6, but for whatever reason my brain cannot retain the difference between the different Polestar numbers o. o

I think it's counterintuitive to put the steering wheel adjustment control in the infotainment screen. Why couldn't they just put a switch on the steering column like everyone else

Appreciate your review(s)
. Polestar value doesn’t seem to be on par with competitors. PS2 seems way overpriced for what you get. I hope the PS3 and PS4 bring more to the table.

Good luck. Just read that polestar sales are a joke while Volvo has grown. crowded field, overpriced, needs lease deals & incentives, etc. evs will be a joke for years to come.

Long term Sure, I'd like to know life with the 3. Personally, it's beyond our budget new, but I'd consider a lightly used example. assuming support is available 3 to 5 years from now.

Hope that Polestar gets a handle on reliability. According to Consumer Reports, the reliability of the Polestar 2 is abysmal with a 5 out of 100 rating. this is Yugo territory!

It seems like anything in 2025 and forward, EV's need to be 325 miles of range--- I have no idea why manufactures are not overloading the battery and making that a priority.
reply

I wish every reviewer would replace the 0-60 nonsense with miles/kwh and charging speed. Yes we all know how EVs are quick. Nobody is comparing them for speed believe me.

I like the mission, but I just realized that the really narrow headlights remind me of a Bolt or previous RAV4. I really miss the full-height Swedish lights.

So the polestar one is essentially a high performance personal luxury coupe. But the five and the six are more performant than the two through four

Has Polestar been successful Its quite rare for me to see one. I cant recall seeing one for months.
Watch me see one soon after saying that.

I have a P3 on order. Interested in the reviews now coming out. Would not own a BMW, MB or Porsche, so this appears to be a great alternative.

12: 08 you said 2, did you mean 3 Looks neat, but still like Tesla better, maybe some company can change my mind before I actually buy one!

I been trying to think of for months who this guy reminds me of. Then I just watched the hangover 3. he reminds me of the dentist guy.

Alex must be unique in his usage of the word gob as a unit of spaciousness. Unfortunately in UK Gob means spittle or phlegm

Very impressive, but too expensive. Great review, as always! Definitely worthy of a long term tester. Base model would be interesting.
