This should have been a chrysler. It would have solved two problems the company has, chrysler has no suv crossover, and chrysler only has one model. All they needed to do was call this an aspen and use it as a sign of chryslers premium future and try and sell the brand as a premium/entry luxury brand like it tried to be in the 80s. They'd have the unique position of having absolutely no company framework or vision to work with as their only model is a minivan. A free clean sheet design opportunity.
But instead they brand this a wagoneer and throw away the model. This wont sell well and it will just tarnish the jeep name further. Lets just hope now that tavares is gone, they can start making good decisions with the chrysler brands

As an owner of a '22 Grand Cherokee Summit, I'm happy to see they have done a little reduction in the amount of gloss piano black (still could eliminate more) but disappointed they replaced some of the physical controls for HVAC, seat/steering wheel heat, etc with touch screen controls. With regard to the hard foam in the front under hood storage, could it be there for frontal crash protection With the cutouts, it looks like something (like a tire jack) was meant to be carried there, but to your point, it seems like removing it to provide more storage room would be a common modification.

I'll order an EV with a range of 300 miles, LED light bar, 0-60 in fast. I want screens, as many screens as we can fit in the interior. The name should be confusing, give it the same name as another product in the lineup or some combination of letters and numbers. There should be piano black, but don't worry we're now putting it on the exterior too. And I want if for 60 thousand dollars. What are we doing Isn't this market oversaturated Isn't it not performing as well as forecasted Doesn't Tesla have the top 3 best selling EVs on lock Great video as always Alex.

This is an interesting proposition. The interior is really luxurious, except for a few places where they cheap out like the gauge cluster animations and dashboard panels. But the Audi Q6 e-tron and Porsche Macan EV have much better charging and efficiency. The Cadillac Lyriq has most of the luxury features and similar charging for a lower price. And Rivian has much more off-road capability for true Jeep fans.

Jeep is really screwed, if this is their direction. Think that jeep the most off-road manufacturer is struggling, while every other manufacturer is going more squared off, macho, rugged, softroader and even off-roader. The Kia ____ XPro is more manly than this. The Scout will mop the floor of Jeep. Jeep should have continued as adventure vehicles and made Chrysler their luxury brand.

Lucid Gravity is in the same class. .but much more expensive at least for now.
I am not sure if you would want to road trip this. with an absolutely terrible route planner in the car, and not having total access to Tesla Superchargers. At least the newer GM cars actually have decent route planning that is pretty quick too.

How do these marketing teams keep mis-naming products Naming it Wagoneer and just adding an S makes no sense. One Wagoneer is a mammoth full size 3 row gas guzzling SUV like a Tahoe. This is a 2-row crossover EV. This should have been a good opportunity to launch a new name that everyone could easily identify.

They did get a lot right simply because they used the Jeep parts bin.
#1 Heated/ventilated/massage seats up front.
#2 Heated/ventilated seats in back.
#3 Passenger display.
#4 power sunshade cover.
#5 HUD
#6 72, 000 loaded!
#7 300 miles range
#8 Looks decent enough.

That spoiler looks ridiculously large to me. I would have rather had a more squared off cargo area and a smaller spoiler, but presumably that dramatically affects range. If you take away that giant spoiler it really changes the profile of the car to more of a lifted sedan

Stellantis releases a Jeep that is less off-roadable, less efficient, and more expensive than a Cadillac Lyriq.
And they wonder why they’re in trouble.

Kudos Alex, your reviews always make the other reviewers look so amateur. Turning in my ID. 4 and headed to Jeep, just hope their software is better than VW

72000 I suppose if I really wanted to buy one, i could just buy a used one 2 years from now for 20k Let someone else pay the majority of its depreciation.

Sounds way better than the Charger Daytona. That car has poor Miles per kWh and doesn't do burnouts. The thing delays when you put your foot in it

Maybe it’s just the lighting in the sun but the paint and finish on the doors makes it look like polished aluminum and not by design.
