Im just getting too much of the Honda Pilot on the side profile. I dont know if people who are willing to spend 50k plus on this vehicle will even consider this the attention to detail and craftsmanship on the side profile reflects a 30k car, not 50k starting price. For a car who has more skillfully crafted competition, namely the Lincoln Aviator or the new Acura MDX which will be out within the next year, and the sales leader Lexus RX redesign the next couple of years from now Id call this design dead on arrival, or the darling of the rental car fleets.

No more distinctive vertical headlights for Cadillac? That arts and science design language has been their hallmark for over 15 years. Now the front end looks very MDX with same grille geometry and horizontal headlights. Profile is generic crossover but the rear window kink gives the overall impression of the XC90 or even Honda Pilot. Cadillac used to be more unique. I miss that.

Why did the morons at GM use the same crappy V-6/9 speed as the Traverse/Enclave? They could have easily put in a 400+ hp mill with a 10 speed and taken on the Aviator, X5, Q7, et al? And did I mention the parts bin dashboard. Cadillac let the dinosaurs crawl out of the tar pits. For the love of God, SEND THEM BACK

Why the same 3. 6 from over 12 years ago? Its a solid motor but its grainy and not even slightly powerful given its numbers. They could have easily put in the 3. 0T from the CT6. With the Explorer offering 400+ HP as well as more torque then its a no brainer. The Explorer or Aviator is the smarter choice.

Exterior 9/10, interior 4/10 for segment, really not impressed at all. I think the Aviator is a much more compelling vehicle, although FWD is usable in the snowbelt and I wouldnt feel comfortable buying a RWD vehicle so theres an expense and fuel economy hit there.

Cadillac keeps making new models yet I rarely see anybody drive them, with the exception of the escalade used as an executive transport, Cadillac doesnt seem to be in the ballpark especially with the rise of explorers and other crossover models.

Very generic profile. Actually very shocked at the banality of the exterior. A real step back with the exterior, a real shame as Caddy had some distinctiveness with previous models.

This looks too much like a badge-engineered Traverse. Cadillac had started to do a decent job of avoiding that, but I cant not see a Traverse when I look at this.

Carlisle, please do not loose focus. Cadillac was on track to become a real German competitor. I currently have an ATS and love it. Please utilize your power plants
