I use the tow hook on the rear of my CUV to roll our garbage cans to the curb once a week. So I assume the RAM 2500/3500 would be a bit of an overkill. I do, however, have to share the road with behemoths like this. And for those who actually need the kind of power/performance it provides, I can understand the utility. I do have a suspicion, though, that many of the immaculate examples is see on the street appeal to a more primal impulse than actual utility. And for that Viagra is a far more economical solution. :)

Why on Earth would they design the technology center to locate the navigation BELOW the climate controls? Has any of their engineers actually been behind the wheel before? All this stiff should be located as close to your road view as possible. When you look down you want your peripheral vision to allow your brain to remain in touch with the road ahead. But what do I know. Thats just poor R&D. And so is a 30 gallon fuel tank. Might as well fill up a few milk cartons with diesel and use them instead.

The truck doesnt need to be ALL new. Leave on what works and change that things that need to be updated. After all, theres nothing better than time-in-service to work out all the kinks and get things working right. Thats how you improve reliability. In our continuous demand for newness, I think we sometimes forget that. I just wish the seats came with more thigh support for us 6+ footers. Especially when these trucks come with all that fantastic leg room.

Love the new power numbers on these. But Im a simpleton when it comes to the interior. Ill take a good old tradesman versus all those bells and whistles which just cuts into the payload and towing numbers and just more crap to break. That being said, I suppose if I was hauling a 5th wheel all over the country some of those things would be nice. I dont know about 25k nice but to each their own. GJ RAM/Cummins.

I can only imagine how durable that engine is. A 13liter Cummins with 1500 ft lbs of torque cant hit half a million miles without needing to be opened up lol what the hell do you need that much torque for in a damn pickup for anyway? CDL needed for the registration is my opinion. In order to ensure responsible driving. You know how idiots are, yea itll accelerate well but it wont stop well dragging 35k.

Im actually pretty disappointed in the cab. Materials are amazing, but that was expected. Its the same cab, so cabin space is unchanged. I was hoping for added leg room and reclining rear seats be available with an 8 bed. Well, thats not happening. Because the truck is still basically using the same mold, Id just say its just a major refresh.

I am actually glad that Ram decided to update the 4th to a 4. 5 Gen instead of waiting 2 more years like tradition that occurs with the Big 3 after the release a half-ton and release a new model. Ram knew GM is releasing a new HD, and Ford is readying a heavily revised HD. THIS is how you do an update

Great stuff In the market for a HD truck when I retire by December 2019. Need one to tow the Airstream Ill be getting and enjoy touring the good old USA Only wished the fuel tank was a bit larger. Other than that, its an awesome looking truck and quality. Keep up the good work.
