Picked up my new A4 2. 0 Sport 3 days ago. I had difficulty telling it apart from the old one and really, the mirrors on the doors are one of the few 'tells' other than the grill, but I've only seen a couple of others on the road anyway. Simply put, the car is fantastic to drive and comes with a long list of features as standard. The long air vents on the dash work great and I wouldn't want to go back to multiple vents. I also love all the buttons which are really high quality as well as touch sensitive, but strangely the indicator and wiper stalks seem cheap and I've seen better on an old Ford. Without doubt it's better than the 3 series and C class and the thing I like best is that it feels rock solid, stable, and quiet at speed on the motorway- but this also means you might rack up the points on your license fast too. However, if you're a show-off more than a driver, you'll probably choose the BM or the Merc.

No-one can deny that the new A4 interior is the best in its class. Second being the 3 series however I think it's time they get rid of them orange lighted speedometers. The new Benz's interiors are the worse by far with that terrible, cheap and tacky looking screen. As to exteriors, I can't pick between the Audi and BMW but yet again I can't say I like the C Class exterior, to my eyes its too soft. I like how both BMW & Audi have gone with more lines and more angles on their new cars. To me, Mercedes' old C Class is far better looking.

I am a proud 320i, 328i & 335i owner at the same time, but i've just bought a new A4 2, 0tfsi s-tronic 190bhp for my mom last friday. She wanted a new car and having it compared to the actual F30 3-series, it is just a better car for exactly the same money and that is all whas she needs, no fun of being rear wheel driven. The new A4 is on a level of a 5series BMW in terms of road comfort and luxury. Stunning vehicle. its about 7-8 weeks until delivery, i can't wait to try it out and compare with my BMs.

Can Audi please headhunt some new exterior designers. This looks like a mid-term refresh of the front and nothing more. Yes the interior is nicer but Audi never gets blame for those (apart from black interior beloved by undertakers and those with black polo necks. Lots of improvements but who will know you have the newer car - only car enthusiasts and Audi themselves.

Engineering and chassis is as always very good, I don't have a problem with that or the very nice cabin, I simply don't like the exterior styling. But I do like the styling of the Mazda, the Mondeo, the Insignia, the Passat, the Octavia and most certainly the BMW or Merc C class which is my favourite. But for me the styling has improved.

Nice interior (even though it's exactly the same as all the other audi interiors, nice front (even though that also looks the same) but ugly rear, looks Japanese.
It's exactly the same with bmw, if they didn't market the shit out of their cars people wouldn't be fooled and would realise -it's the same damn car! -.

VAG remains VAG: each conservative, great all around, more or less same design (not bad, each the some of the best value for the money.
However I prefer BMW or Jag for the driving sensation. But VAG cars all offer outstanding value for the money.
It's hard to hate VAG cars.

This is the same Audi from more than 6 years ago. And talking about better steering wheel response? Really? On a front wheel drive? Yeah right. This will fool those who buy a car based on these shiny front lights and nothing else.

The next generation just looks too large to be a near entry model in the U. S. styling is just too mature and bland. Also it looks like the retractable LCD display is gone, replaced with a tact on model like the mercedes

I don't know why everyone is hating on this car, ok the exterior is almost the same, but the engine is much more powerful and the interior is beautiful
