Dacia Jogger review: the bargain of 2022! Auto Express 4K

It's not often that a new car takes us by surprise - when something we-ve seen on the horizon perhaps intrigues, or delights, or (occasionally) disappoints in a way we weren-t expecting. But in the case of the all new Dacia Jogger, we-re almost lost for words. When a car tries to be too many things, it frequently falls short of mastering any of the various briefs set out for it, instead sitting awkwardly between several categories without nailing any of them. Approach the rather odd-looking Jogger and you fear it might be due the same fate. Is it an estate? A traditional MPV? And is there a bit of SUV thrown in there? The Romanian brand will tell you that it-s a bit of all three. In this case, though, the Jogger really has nailed what it set out to achieve - and has managed it at a quite staggering price. Here-s Nicola Hume to explain why it-s the bargain of 2022

Most 7 seaters are only fit for kids in the back back seats, unless you have the Mk1 Ford Galaxy, Vdub Sharon or Seat Umbrella-but this has so much space, I-m sure badge people will secretly buy one and say it-s their dads-.

The only issue with Dacia cars are the poor crash test results. They got better over the years, but they're still not at the level other brands have. Besides that: Nicola can present every car very well!

I think they should do it as a five seater estate as well with a roller load cover in the back. I don't need seven seats and I don't want to be storing two, but the load space would be nice.

What a bargain, amazing value for money. Who would want an 3-4 year old clunker when you can have a new car with warranty.
