Here's everything you need to know about the new 2022 Volkswagen Multivan - the replacement for the Volkswagen Caravelle Lurgs: I drove an S Class for the first time ages ago and needed an IT degree just to sort the heating controls. Just give us good old fashioned dials and buttons, hard to use screen when driving. Bet it's very expensive, I'll stick with my T5

Can you buy one without all these useless assist gadgets and use your driving skills and keep the cost down. My eyes my moveable head and my mirrors have always served me well for parking in any situation, I don't need a camera.

It's need a 120 volt electric outlet for use electric appliances in the car, and function of turn on the AC or heater when car is off, like Tesla camping mode. It is a hybrid car, therefore, please put the battery In good use.

It is likely to be pretty pricey. In its short form it will be competing with its own in-house Seat Alhambra/Sharan. In long wheel base form, there are so many terrific and affordable van base MPVs already.

I'd consider one that came completely empty except for front two seats, everything manual adjustment, and nothing technical aka -driver assistance-. Basic basic basic at less expensive!

The original van was a simple car, with a simple mechanic, with an iconic and fun design for hippies who didn't want to jump in the consumer society. This thing is the exact opposite.

One MASSIVE problem. its built in with Ford! Ford don't do reliability, ford don't hold their value. Ford vans rattle when 6 months old like they are 10 year old VW.

Having owned VWs, Toyota, Hondas, Fords, GM- by far the most reliable and best supported vehicles were the Toyota and Hondas. Nice as this, no thanks VAG.

Do not like the electronic path it is all headed. .and the nanny-tech.
Would much rather have a mint van from the 70s, 80, or 90s. Simple mechanical cars.

So have they deliberately cocked this up, we all love our T4, T5 T6, this seems to be smaller and less good, has anyone said the T5 etc don-t drive well
