I don't usually add comments to videos I watch. I find that many times the angles are horrible, you can't see what's going on, of the completely gloss over the very part (usually the most difficult part) you're trying to see how to do. Or the person creating the video can't put together two complete sentences. But your video was perfect. Showed exactly what to do, with great angles and great insight. Just the right about of humor and tips, but still keeping with teaching in the video. It's not like you're trying to be an amateur comedian! Anyhow, freaking great video.

Around 2015-up. Monroe finally supplied a DECENT Quick-Strut! You do not have it here! The better ones have variable-rate springs. to stop that DEFECTIVE FORD SAGGING! OR, you can get the springs separately MOOG CC-859, or was it CC-459? MOOG did NOT want to tell me the number of the springs THEY put on their Quick-Struts, but CC-859/459 worked great for me. DO NOT USE REGULAR COIL SPRINGS OR CAR WILL SAG!

I'm getting ready to do a set of these. The couple of videos I've seen (yours is MUCH better by the way) you both use air hammer to push knuckle back up on strut. wouldn't it be easier if you cleaned up the knuckle hole with the same lil burr you used on the bolt hole? Get some of the rust n crap out before you try to put strut in? Just wondering if it would help?

I snapped that damn bolt that you heated up and attempted to drill it out with no success, now Im riding around on whats left until I can figure out what the knuckle part is called. After funkin around with the struts the windows went out because of that boot that protects the wires between the door and body. Piece of junk I tell you

checking out this video because just bought a 1999 taurus, noticed a slight lowness, and hard ride? after checking out the car 146000 miles the struts apparently are factory originals. purchased quick struts front and back along with both front hubs! Thanks for the updated 1080 HD great pictures!

Sir
Did all 4 struts and sway bar links today. I hate Ford engineers. They are not intelligent. Yes I had to compress the rear to get links on. Front was a nightmare with having to drop the subframe. I also had to compress new strut to get it in knuckle. Give me a Toyota any day. Ford is trash!

When putting lower part of strut in, I wait till it's at riding height, then cut off the metal tabs on bottom, then RAISE the strut, BEFORE tightening it, to 28 ride height (lip of wheelwell to center of hub, for a SLEEK, NICE, NON-SAG LOOK!

If anyone is replacing struts, do yourself the favor of ordering sway links for 20-30 bucks. They will need to be replaced anyway and plus you only have to remove the one bolt from the stabilizer bar and leave it attached to the old struts.

dont you just hate the dumb little chromed sheet metal caps on the lug nuts? I own a '01 focus, and half of the caps have come off, so now the lugs are 2 different sizes. now whenever I take them off, I strip off the dumb things.

First of all your new jeep hat needs to get replaced now: ) And second great video getting ready to do my rear shocks on my 2000 Taurus. Third, what quick shock or other do you recommend for the money? What would you use?
