Replace: Electric Trailer Brakes - Part #2 Yes it was a worthwhile video well put together, and I'm sure others who have trailers, will be coming your way, and want to see to it you'll be getting more business. It was well put together at your Advanced Electronics, the toolbox the testing of the magnets. The wiring was also well worth watching and learning and downloading information. Trailers manufacturers. and they don't care how they're put together. There's a company in Australia. Where they make trailers 2-wheel and 4-wheel modifications. frames made out of aluminum and I believe they take a lot of consideration since there's a lot of salt and other Grime, where they may take these trailers, then add ons between heat, or air air conditioning, as well as solar panels. Yes it was a wealth. Of information. . I'm take in consideration I've never buying a trailer for the future. One would get a six wheel drive army truck. Put a box on it and they would do the wiring with a crimping at the techniques that you used, on a trailer wheel system. Will you ever check consideration of writing a book about this Legacy you created. A hardcover book with acid-free paper. I don't care for it it PDF. Cuz when the electricity goes down. Set a blank screen. Your grandmother have taught you well.

I was taught by a Army guy- to pack extra grease inside the dust cover. The enginneering, and centrifugal forces, would suck the grease into the spindle, therefore going into a constant lubricating, at high speed. I always pack the dust cover with lots of grease. All vehicles i have ever driven(8x8; 6X6; 8x2) and serviced-alliked it when we packed the dust crap full of grease. the engineers told me that over 20 mph; the grease melts; and gets thrown inward-towards the spindle. A nice-self lubricating system. Always(20)years- I have repaired vehicles-packed the dust Cap with a lot of wheel bearing grease. Never any call backs! Weird- huh! I have always tried to figure out a way to test it, sent stuff to NASA. =shut down. I joined the Army (1980. Never looked back. Happy NOW! Retired Army SSG; -and thank you for all your hard work. Old rancher's sure appreciate you!

Wow, another crazy good informative video. +1 on those butt connectors you used. Ive used dozens myself (Im not a pro) and have also never had one fail. My one nit picky constructive criticism would be to suggest using a heat gun instead of a mini torch. I prefer not to incur the risk of scorching the wire and it removes an open flame ignition source. Great job!

I Truly enjoyed your video Eirc. When you just tighten the nut and backed it off and stuck the cotter pin in. I just did them yesterday the same way. I ordered the easy grease it bearing greaser too. I think thats what makes the video your story telling and your expertise and showing and explaining what your doing. Thanks Frank

Sorry to revive a comment section on such an old video, those connectors are called quick splice connectors. they are the bane of anyone who works with wirings existence. versions are even made that work with solid core house wiring which is a HORRIFIC thing to see in an outlet box.

First time viewer. instant fan! Thanks for taking the time (16 + hours. Great content, common sense commentary, professionalism and humorous sarcasm. This video covered absolutely everything I needed to know, to do the job myself, even down to describing the tools needed.

Eric, your story of the lawnmower brought back memories. I took and old self propelled reel type mower and attached my red wagon behind it. Not real fast, but I think I put about 60, 000 miles on it over the summer! Thanks for the stories!

Extra grease in the hub is the way I was taught. Reason why is if the bearing starts to fail the metal shavings hopefully will stick to the extra grease and hopefully slow the failure and give you time to notice the problem.
