Hello Erico, I have a 2000 Chevy S10 4. 3 4X4, Zr2, I pulled the engine to repair and replace old worned seals, torque converter, etc. I placed the engine back and now that I'm ready to turn on, I'm getting no start, no crank, I have a new starter, replaced the ignition switch strap, I'm still not getting it to turn on, I get the same symptoms like you have on this video, when turning to start position, the lights on the cluster go out, (P, R, N, D, 1, 2, miles. I checked the starting relay with directly to the battery and the coil is working perfect. At the fuse box, I do va 12v at pin 30, with the relay back in place, I turn the key to start position and no success yet. Truck starts if I press on the contact on the coil, but not always, I have to turn the key on and off until I hear the fuel pump running, also fuel gauge on the cluster jumps from E to Full, sometimes stays on the E. Hopefully I could get some help from people you with any ideas on why this is happening thank you and keep posting this helpful videos you do.

Hey what's up I need help I bought a used 4. 2 engine that came with 2 guide pins on bot when I pulled the old engine one guide pin stayed with the old engine and the other with the transmission. how do I remove one of the guide pins where should I start? If you can help or know of any situation that helps I would greatly appreciate it

I replaced the ignition cylinder housing, the ignition lock cylinder, and a new ignition switch. 06 TB. still no crank. I tried to do it like you did in your video with the pliers. NADA. oh yeah I also replaced the starter relay. still won't crank. I'm stuck on what to do next. other than calling my local junkyard. any ideas?

So have the same problem after p2123/p2128 code change app and pcm I deleted the vats on new pcm no crank no start. When old pcm in it starts but no power to gas pedal. No security light on what could be the problem. Need help car been sitting for 5 months thanks

After changing the motor in my truck would not start anywhere from 40 to 52 codes basically Telling me that my truck is not communicating with the ECU don't know what elce to check everything possible that I can think of would like to know if you have any insight

I'm in the process of getting and putting in a ECM. I know how to calibrate but they said if the engine light comes on go get a Tech 2 (my friendly neighboorhood Midas) They wanted to charge me 700 to 800 to put in the ECM - ahhh NOT.

Someone help! I got a trailblazer and I reinstalled the engine in it but now I have no crank no start and no fuel. Checked all fuses and relays and they are good. Not sure what I did wrong but I'm stumped

Ok, I just had no dash lights and no crank on my Suburban. it ended up being a cooked solenoid wire shorting from manifold heat. took 270 K for that to happen. The number 6 main fuse (40 amp) was popped.

My car just started straight up thank you. It was the tac causing it to idle too low then quit to many times I wore the ignition cords out but intouched the 2 together and straight up.

I have a trailblazer with the same problem and I did everything you did, what if mine still don't start after jumping the red and pink wire. Could it me the security box or the ECM?
