Well its good to see it even happens to the great Eric O we've all been there and had that one car that refuses to leave the garage! Brilliant diagnostic skills as always. You mentioned you're lucky or words similar its got nothing to do with it your years of skills and knowledge allow you to almost know where the problem is already and thats what people pay for. Great video as always just wish you had the time to do more

Great video. The used car guy is king right now. I just sold a ten year old low mileage mint vehicle for shockingly close to what I paid for it new. You can t really blame this Chevy for spending its whole life in your horrific state of salt and corrosion but the dealer definitely swept things under the rug.

Hey Eric. Since you found a broken wire, it might be safe to say the original trailer brake controller was still good? Did you try connecting to it? Then, it would be all factory again instead of the additional controller zap strapped to a wire harness next to the old one. Just curious.

Eric my Camry is a 2000 model. A friend of mine who works at Advance Auto said to change all the fuses inside and in the engine bay fuse box. I put a stereo in the Camry. The audio guy checked a fuse. When he pulled it out it broke apart. So should I change all fuses?

Ya, it's only a 5 minute job! UHUH!
Oh look! Eric fixed the intermittent crank/no start!
Gatta love these rust bucket jobs!
It'll be back for that intermittent crank/no start!
Anyway, good job Mr. O. Ivan would be (no parts required) proud!

South Main Auto. Yep got burned one time a long time ago. Since then I always check for power on both sides of the fuse and then pull the fuse to make sure both legs of the fuse are there. Like you said it's funny until it's you, then it's not funny.

I've had a few folks come into my shop for second opinions on used cars they're looking to buy recently. A couple were just ridiculous and don't come anywhere close to passing a state inspection. It definitely is a rough time to buy a car right now.

WHEW! Good save on the no start Eric! Thumbs UP man! I have GM fuel pump fixer that I keep hang on the wall in my shop. It is a chunk of Maple Firewood! A few whacks with that will usually get it going again LOL
