Sell your car for free with Carwow: It was only last week that Mat had to wave goodbye to his Audi R8 Spyder long-term daily driver. But fear not! He’s already swapped it for another Audi - an Audi RS7 Sportback Performance! Mat’s been allowed to spec this car exactly as he wants it, so in this video, he’s going to take you on a walk through exactly what he’s chosen, while also taking you on a drive with this new long-term Sportback! So for starters, let’s check out the design. Naturally, Mat went for the top-of-the-range Carbon Vorsprung pack, so there’s loads of carbon to be found on the outside, from the badges and side skirts through to the side mirrors and grille. Some of these are additional options that cost a few hundred pounds each, but there’s one option that costs so much more. The Ascari Blue matt finish paint comes in at around 6, 000! Step inside and the interior is oh-so nice. Even if the design is a few years old now, it still looks really smart. There’s a large infotainment screen in the centre of the dash, coupled with a large digital dial screen. Materials throughout the cabin are really nice, and the new RS7 Performance comes with an Alcantara steering wheel as well. When it comes to options Mat added, he went for the blue stitching throughout the cabin, coupled with blue seatbelts and blue stitching in the sport seats. When it comes to the engine, it’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce 630hp and 850Nm of torque. It also comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and Quattro all-wheel drive. Naturally, the car isn’t cheap. With all the options added it costs a mind-boggling 143, 000! So is it worth it And more importantly, will Mat prefer it to his Audi R8 Spyder You’ll need to keep watching to see for yourself!

Bit odd to me you call the RS7 practical with its boot. I'd call that okay. Imho the real practical one would be the RS6. But hey, enjoy your new car mate. Allzeit gute Fahrt als we say in Germany!
Kinda weird to me noone else does the haptic feedback on their touch systems. Tried it in the S8 and it was SO GOOD that I really wonder why. The sole touch-only system that actually does work well enough because it barely allows any wrong input to be given.

It amazes me that so many car manufacturers still have such laggy and unresponsive infotainment displays. While some of them look nice, they behave like you're using a 15 year old touch screen device. Input delay, laggy animations, slow processing is all a nightmare to deal with, especially when driving. It's even more of a problem now that manufacturers are hiding core vehicle controls behind sub menus.

Yeah, I dmr ride around in a fish tank. I can't not have my shit tinted out all around, I couldn't be a car reviewer, I'd try and tint every car I get, including a full windshield. I had a 23 a5 sb rental for 2 months after an accident. Came with clear glass, i turned the car back in with illegal tint, lol.

When you say the infotainment system feels old I really hope you mean that it still doesn't have buttons for the climate, cause otherwise it's a silly comment. People think they care about the infotainment but they don't. You drive the car, you don't use the tablet

the instructions were clearly given in metric system (as in kilometres) so 1000 Miles (which is one of the most confusing measurements in the world given the english mile, the American mile the land mile the nautical mile etc) does not make any sense in this occasion

I don’t understand this run in thing. Why can’t they run the car in for you It’s like ordering a steak and in a restaurant and they ask you to cook it yourself. I’d tell em sod off and just rag it from the start.

Love it. I only have an older bitdi but it's still a lovely thing. Not an Audi fan really but it is quite a decent thing. Would love an RS7. i have an RS7 airbox though so maybe I'll get one piece by piece

The exhaust Valve opening and closing as the engine starts its actualy a system check, for any mechanical faults on the Valve. If the Valve is somehow stuck, a error message Will apear on the cluster.

Good bit of Pr for Audi! At least Matt does not have to pay for it! He prefers powerful Porches second for 7k. Wise Man! As for this car. 6 years old once it has devalued to very little I would not say no!

Mat needs to stop moaning about the condensation in the headlights. That's normal for a car like that, that hasn't had the chance to completely warm up and goes away after a longer drive.
