BMW iX M60 review: It's BONKERS!

BMW s M division has got its hands on the brand s first purpose-built electric SUV, but how much has changed over the standard edition? Well in terms of the exterior design It s pretty much identical! Bar some new badging at the rear of the car and along the side, everything else you see on the outside of the iX M60 is available on the normal car. The only difference here is a lot of things, such as blue brake calipers, come as an optional extra on the standard car. With the iX M60, they come as standard. On the inside, it s pretty much the same story! Bar some new driving modes and some slight M colouring on the digital dials, the iX M60 interior is identical to the usual iX. Then again, that s not exactly a bad thing! However, there are two key differences with this car. For starters, the power output is HUGE. This family-friendly electric SUV now produces 619hp and 1, 100Nm of torque! It s still packing the same 105kWh battery pack as the normal car though, so the claimed range is down slightly, at 348 miles. kordax: 130k euros. median salary in Germany (the country which produces these cars) is 47. 700 euros before the taxes.
It will take 6-7 years of a non-eating/drinking lifestyle for the German consumer to buy one, yet he will not be able to cover the maintenance costs.

Well for the whole HP Torque thing, to relate to it. My 2004 Mustang GT, as long as it's in 2nd or 1st it kicks somewhat like that. It's just that 3rd is basically an overdrive gear & 4th is even a more of an overdrive gear. Not too much HP or torque to be on the highway & wanting to pull on better equipped vehicles, as long as they don't have twenty gears, so meaning they won't get into overdrive I stand a chance at the 1/4 mile, as a dig, so that vehicles are both stopped, as how they test the 1/4 on CarWow. I think pretty much any other vehichle than maaaayyybbbe a CTS-V used NOS at a dig race. & well I couldn't even tale full affect from my torque converter because by the time it was stolen I didn't get to add a rear big brake kit, just to put of use of the converter. But, maybe one day. But from had driven a Buick Encore, the interior of the BMW is really nice but very far of an equivalent price tag. My Buick with the credit score I had came out to land at around 44, 000 USD.

Why would journos always criticizes prices if Bmw and not that of Mercedes Benz, compare them head to head and YOU WILL THE VERY VERY SMALL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM. I'll chose BMW way or Mercedes Benz. Merc is overpriced in every respect that goes without saying.

I have to admit when it came out I thought its absolutely hideous. Now that I have seen some iX in real life I gotta say the design has grown on me. I kinda like it now. It definitely stands out and has presence

BMW styling just isn't it atm. I really haven't liked the look of any of them lately. Sure they will drive amazingly, and you'll probably be chufded with almost any BMW! But they are just so ugly right now lol

I appreciate Matt taking the time to mention all the features and options that cost extra instead of pretending these fully loaded press cars offer these features at the base price. Thank you Matt!

It would be interesting to know the service cost of these cars. I don't think BMW and Audi can afford to do like Tesla and service these cars not so often. The dealers would go bankrupt.

I was tempted to by an IX this year, but I am not ready to give up the excitement of an internal combustion engine so, I got X3 M Competition. Matt Watson please do a review on it.

this BMW has 811 LB Ft torque where as for ex my dad's used 2011 Cadillac SRX has 223 Pound Ft torque granted the BMW is about 300 LBs heavier than the Cadillac was

Well, apparently, they're enjoying the warm autumn temperatures in Munich as there's nothing remotely carbon neutral about that behemoth. Pretty impressive tech though.

Let's pay 65% more for 40hp more than the second highest tiered car! Well. No, no.
And let's not talk about how hideous the iX is. It's even worse in real life.

How much does the standard iX cost after all the same optional M sport upgrades to match this iX M60? What s the effective price difference between the two then?
reply

Drawing a comparison with AJ is an insult to any car really. It means it has no talents and lost 3 out of the last 5 tests against the competition.

My god what an abomination. Cool car and all but it looks like a big, ugly, cyberpunk hog. I laugh anytime I see someone driving this on the road

BMW is very clever at designing cool and futuristic looking cars and SUVs like this iX M60! Honestly this iX M60 looks like it's from 2050!
