This is the new Volvo V60. It has an all-new look, a lavish interior and hybrid engines with up to 390hp. There is a lot that has changed but fear not - this carwow Top 10 will go over the most important things about the new V60!

I think you need to step back from the subjective viewpoints Matt. this V60 is gorgeous in every respect of the word and while the interior polarises opinions, I like it very much. However, this does lead me to say that you can't immediately disregard the others in terms of 'cool factor'. The A4 Avant is, to my eye, the neatest yet most boring design, the 3 series is a classic and well loved design and the newly facelifted C Class Estate with the Exclusive package has a certain 'elegance' and presence that I don't see in the other three. Take each with a pinch of salt.

You should try voice control to alter the temperature. Just say -Temperature 22- or -I'm cold- and see what happens. It works first time every time. No need to take your eyes off the road. Should the passenger want a different temperature to the driver, they can do it using the permanent icon at the bottom of the screen on their side at their leisure.

How can two European car brands, now wholly owned by Chinese companies, be so different? Here's Volvo, owned by Geely, given the freedom and finance to develop quality cars built in Sweden. Then there's MG, owned by SAIC, which builds shite in a Chinese factory and pretends it's British. Makes me really sad.

why do these car testers constantly moan about about how hard and fiddly it is to adjust the temperature, firstly how often do you change it whilst driving and secondly you dont have to touch the screen you just tell the car to set the temperature to whatever you like from the steering wheel buttton

Very great looking car. but I rather expect it to be lacking behind just a bit here and there on the newer German Rivals. also the bigger V90 could not satisfy me 100 % in all aspects, especially ride comfort, compared to lets say an E-class or a 5 series Touring.

I agree that this car is great looking from all angles, but not that the outgoing V60 is -drab-. It was already a good-looking car. The new one happens to be a great example of how you can produce an -all new- car that doesn't make the previous version look old.

Nothing to see here! A boring car in a boring color for boring people. C class or 3 series or Jaguar or alfa or whatever brands Are more emotional cars. This to me is the ultimate salesmanager car that just didn-t make it.
And his labrador hates him to

You may not know this, In 2019 Volvo are going to produce nothing but electric and hybrids; The new Volvo V60 will be electric in the forthcoming year. So the petrol heads will only have half a year to enjoy Volvos- traditional production.

I feel like this is a much better success than the V90 when it comes to being good in it's class, the V90 was still kind of an experiment but now that Volvo has properly gotten into its new design language it works so much better.

Want one or a v90 from the used market, when my xc70 gives in(Will take some time! Hope they will build a x-country too: D
Volvo just works as simple as that, that's my experience as a Volvo owner for many years.
