I-d say the BMW and Mercedes were too close and could be down to reaction times as per other videos as after the initial launch, the 0. 1 sec gap remained constant throughout.
I love Audi-s. Their cars and engines are awesome. They are So solid, so quick, so refined. Audi engines and are as good as any in the premium market. One of the most refined and efficient engines I-ve ever driven is from the Volkswagen group.
Mercedes make great engines with longevity in mind. In fact, Mercedes make some of the worlds best engines which are Used in many applications across different brands and are admired by many. BMW make great engines too which are quick to deliver performance where their calibration is both accurate and aggressive, but the drawback is that they don-t normally last as long as Mercedes as a result. (Trying not to laugh as Type this)
in other words, I-d take the Mercedes with the 0. 1 second deficit because I know it will last longer.

I'd love a 435d vs that 840d, 6. 5hp difference but 200kg weight disparity, would be interesting to see if BMW's new engine tech and aero makes up for a heavier weight.

You could at least find an A8 with that BiTDI which in fact is supercharger+turbocharger. This way it was obvious before start that Audi has no place in such race.

This is shit no test. Make tests on cars with the same wieght and size. For example: Mercedes-Benz S, BMW 7 and AUDI A8!

well audi has less Hp (286 while the others has 330 more or less) and weighs a bit more so is quite impressive what it did
