practice and urban lifestyle in Asia.
Toyota alphard has been very popular model in many Asian counties.
Despite the high price, wealthy families in Asia want a comfortable car that a whole family can ride together.
In the west, the concept of a family is a -parents and child- so large SUV is enough but in Asia, the concept of -family- is larger and the comfort of elder members of the family is taken very seriously.
Also, traffics are very slow in many Asian cities, so sportiness isn-t as important as comfort and status.
Lexus LM now sold in several counties in Asia but it isn-t sold in Japan, and probably never will be but Toyota sees the need for -luxury ban- in a market and brought a product.
It similar to Japanese auto makers created a category of a small/subcompact urban SUV, which merely didn-t exist in US at that time.

7: 07 I really dislike the term -coupe- being described as a sloping roof line on any type of vehicle. It used to mean 2 doors and it made sense meaning two doors. This Porsche Cayenne is not an SUV either. These sloping roof crossovers are not -utility- vehicles. Basically, this car looks like a tall, bloated sedan with a very trendy slopping roof. I think older German designers who used to follow the mantra of -form follows function- are throwing up looking at these -crossover coupes- coming from prestigious German automakers. This Cayenne is a silly styling exercise in my opinion. You raise the car platform but then shorten the roof to look like a bloated sedan but you lower the back portion of that roof and then the back seats to create headroom, done all in the name of -style. - That's pretty silly, in my opinion.

Compare about sitting in the toilet, squatting is better way to prevent blood stuck, and this contactless way is safer than using papers as an isolation between your skin and toilet, specially when you using public facility. Don-t easily look down on people or show jealousy if your are real gentleman.

He does a pretty good job with his videos. But there's one that I absolutely hate but it's me not him, which is when he scratches the plastic, it tickles my ears kinda like when cats get annoyed when you write with chalk on a blackboard and it makes a screeching sound. --

We know people look at SUVs these days, but the Alphard exists in England and there are a ton still for sale there. In fact it was legally imported to Canada back in 2002 when it was announced. Otherwise it's true it is highly sold in Asia.

Hey Mat here. Just noticed a major error. When I said the Terramont was basically like a Touareg I meant TIGUAN. Touareg is the same as a Q8 with a lengthways engine, not a transverse one. Sorry - it was a long day and I was jet lagged.
