I've now had my A6 14 months and covered just over 7000 miles. It has been back to main dealers three times where it had to have major headlight updates that took 3 days to complete. The rear near side door handle mechanism malfunctioned and had to be replaced, and my latest gripe is the noise and judder you experience in the car when making a manoeuvre that requires full left or right lock. I went all out when purchasing this car, it has Quattro drive full air suspension and four wheel steer. The reason for the car shudder I am told by both my dealer and HQ AUDI UK, this is to be expected as the diff between the rear and front wheels can cause this anomaly. Well nowhere in the handbook or was it ever explained to me when buying this car that this is the norm. I must also say that whilst the four wheel steer does aid in the turning, the air suspension does not warrant the extra expense paid on the vehicle.
Overall I'm somewhat dissatisfied and disappointed with my car and perhaps after 2 A6's and 2 A7's it could be the parting of the waves for myself and Audi

FYI You mentioned you wished the passenger mirror automatically adjusted when you reverse to prevent kerbing the wheel, well it does.
And I'm sure for all A6s like mine, what you need to do is, firstly put the vehicle in reverse, adjust your left mirror to desired viewing angle. When you take vehicle out of reverse and select drive, the vehicle mirror will automatically readjust to the view prior to be put into reverse. Remember for this to work then going forward, it will only work when the passenger mirror is selected with the rotary knob on the drivers door. Hope this helps some of you -

Let's be real for a second about this new trend of voicecommands. Will people actually ever use -Hey -Carbrand-- wait for a beep and a -What can I do for you- and after that say -I'm cold-. Or will it be much more intuitive to just click on the plus sign of climate control system. Also if you're looking for restaurants in the area, will you not be more inclined to just pop out your phone and look for restaurants, then let the car do the looking? It's such a useless 2019 gimmick that it honestly isn't even worth to mention

I've a C8 now. having previously owned a C7. 5 and the biggest thing I've noticed is a drop in the quality of the materials used (and the finish) in the interior between the two gens. The C7. 5 is just a more luxurious car to be in. and to add. it's just been in for its third different warranty fix in 4 months. it's just so unreliable. It'll be going before the warranty expires. the cutbacks from the emissions scandal are hitting. it's an incredibly disappointing car to own.

Thanks for the great review as always Matt. I want to ask you or anyone in the comments what is the better pack, the tour pack or the sound and comfort pack? I am looking to order one of these in the estate version but can't decide what would be best for me. We do a lot of motorway miles mixed with a small amount of around town driving but can't really decide what would be the most useful if you or anyone could offer some advice it would be much appreciated.

Got this car almost 2 years ago fully spec'd. Its a nice car but I have 2 major issues that are enough to consider selling it.
1. Acceleration is laggy and, thus, dangerous. Takes almost 2secs from the time you floor it for the car to respond. Very dangerous at roundabouts
2. Ran out of battery when I left it at the airport for 2 weeks. The car was brand new. Never had this issue with a car before.

The climate control on extra big screen is so ridiculous. It should be knobs as before or put on the same screen (bigger) as the other settings. I would expect this kind of design from the chinese, no offence but not an Europe designed car.

Hi Matt, I have set up a new deal on the A 6 auto, petrol Sport model.
Motorlet put together aver competitive deal.
It has no Tech pack, just the analogue dials.
What are the mpg on this model.
The deal was outside of carwow.

You have to have the mirror switch turned to the left hand (right hand in the US) side when you're reversing in order for the passenger door mirror to dip when you put it in reverse. It's been that way on all Audis for at least five years.

this car is ugly outside with a very poor design work and the interior is boring and look cheap and not good quality with many cheap plastics and a cold boring design. Audi have too much reliabilities problems and the prices are crazy.
