In Denmark you pay 3x the Price off any car in the World you can-t get in Danmark fx a standard 911 Carrera cost 268916, 6- because the tax off the plates so if you wanna drive it on the road 3x but track day car can you cet from Germany for the normal price but no plates and if you want plates 3x the price and we have not menu tracks. so in Danmark many have very good money but drives a very high price volvo fx but hybrid and electric can-t get very cheap because the climactic so I will recommend a hybrid for my fellow Danes. #ribcarlovers and all the tax goes to the country so our country is very rich no flex

Surprised that Albania and its sheer ridiculous amount of tax (including something applied to supercars, high performance cars and premium SUVs called the luxury tax) was not even mentioned here. Hell there are about 7 different kinds of tax just for the fuel. You've got Volkswagen Ups starting from over 12k euros over here ffs. Combine that with us being Europe's answer to Venezuela (and I mean it, we're literally the poorest country in all of Europe) and that makes ANY car, even the used to the ground ones, pretty much unaffordable.

Its funny that matt have not included turkey. Because car taxes can go all the way 400% in here. For example the new bmw 520i with a 1. 6 170hp (yes bmw actually sells 1. 6 3-4-5 series) costs 130. 000 euros. And that car is in the 100% tax barrier. And if you try to get a sports car like a base 991 911 it gets an almost 400% tax and costs 450. 000 euros. The Turbo s and the gt3 models can go all the way upto 1-1. 2 million euros.

Mat forgot to mention Pakistan. But I am here to help. In Pakistan, imported cars can be slammed of a duty tax of upto a whopping 363%. The new Land Cruiser costs 57 million PKR, which is equivalent to $350, 000. That means, a Pakistani could buy a Rolls-Royce in the US instead of buying a Land Cruiser in Pakistan. I guess Pakistan has to be one of the most, if not the most, expensive countries to own a car.

I lIve in Bali and ordered a Toyota Supra in February 2021. it has just arrived now 25th October and I still waiting for it to be released by Toyota. one good thing was that the Indonesian Gov. reduced the C02 tax component on the car on 16th October 2021 so I go discount of just over 8, 5000 GBP. Car has still cost me overt 100 grand GBP but worth it. I hope.

This all are nothing compared to Bangladesh. Because we have to pay 900% vat/tax on cars over 4. 0 litre engine. We have to pay 3 million pounds for a rolls royce wraith. which is around 400k(maybe less) in uk. but in Bangladesh we have to pay 3 MILLION pounds for a 400k car. and i am serious. not joking.
