All this is good info but about 2 days to later, professionals can now get there hands on a fresh vin and logbook and swap the details over onto the stolen car and if everything is done to high standards even dvla wont know the difference just like they can order a German manufacturer car key from German and they will send you a new key out so they can just walk up and unlock your car and drive off with it. its just got to easy for them to get there hands on equipment to steal vehicles which is a joke

Had a similar solution but the seller actually gave us the vin of the good car but then showed us the bad car which didn’t match the vin. He also parked the good car within sight from the bad car so we saw the good car before the seller got there then they brought us over to the bad car and we were like man it’s pretty obvious. That dude sped off so quick

I think the plate number should be registered on the owner and the car cannot be sold or transferrer by anyone else but the owner. So that I cant sell Jimmies car over there because the plate would belong to him not me. It wouldn't stop people from cloning cars and framing people but it would more or less stop people from being able to sell cloned cars.

It's not really as easy, I sold my old car at a pretty low price, it was lowest by thousands considering the confition, age, km, and everything because I just wanted to sell it fast. So a low price doesn't necessarily mean scam.

Back when i was buying a used car i came across so many cars that i could clearly see had crash damage repairs that where not registered and people will just deny it even if you show them how you can see it.

Its interesting that you can just have license plates made for your car in the UK. In the US we have to order them from the DMV and then a near by prison makes them for us, lol.

That ANPR test was wrong, of course ANPR would read it without the BS markings! Did anyone notice that the Police car didn’t have any BS markings on the plate
