Mercedes-Maybach S680 review - tested for luxury and from 0-60mph!

This is the Mercedes-Maybach S680- And it just might be the most luxurious car in the world! For starters, let-s talk about the price, because you know a luxury car like this is going to burn a mightily big hole in your wallet! The entry level car costs a staggering -160, 000, but if you go for the range-topping S680, you-ll be looking at a starting price of -201, 000! And let-s face it, you know once you add a load of options, it-ll probably cost you SO much more! On the outside it may look relatively similar to the S-Class, but once you peer a bit closer, you-ll see there are a number of subtle changes, such as unique wheel designs, a bespoke Maybach grille, and a whole load of chrome! But it-s once you set foot inside that you notice how much more luxurious the Maybach is compared to the normal S-Class. Want to see what sort of details it features, along with just how powerful the 6-litre V12 under the bonnet is? You-ll have to stick with Mat for his latest review to find out!

Really beautiful car but it feels insecure as a brand, with this design and 3 stars batch people will always compare this Maybach to the S-Class and this is not good for brand positioning for ultra luxury and compete with Bentley and Rolls. Message for gentleman at Stuttgart: just make Maybach as independent sub brand from Benz and look up the Maybach Zeppelin concept from an artist on internet and build it. One more: loose the attached screens behind the seat, it's already on A6 and S-Class. Make it more luxurious and sophisticated screens just like the one in Bentley Mulsane. The rest of interior is great already.

Amazing vids all the time! Just FYI all; I'm pretty sure as to why this jam jar hasn't the MM logo; but Mercs standard 3 Pointed star is bcos; Maybach if you all remember stopped production and back then, there was never any mention of Mercedes on them (MM= Mercedes Maybach. So with the re-introduction of Maybach, but this time round starting with the all new S-class several years ago, it's an actual Merc S class, where as previously before ceasing production, Merc Maybach had their own car designs, but now the brand Maybach is etched on normal Mercs. like the S Class and my fav. the MM Cabrolet! -

Hello carwow i would like if u could do a review for a Toyota Premio 2015 or newer it's just a proper Japanese car with lots of luxurious items for an entry level luxury car, it's not something fast but it's pure luxury and maybe better than some super expensive luxury cars. It would be really nice to see a video review and knowing what britisht people think about it and the price is around $16, 000 usd to $26, 000 depending on engines and year
So plz plz plz if u coud do this ir would be really nice

definitely mercedes i love the technology in it and i just think it is much nicer this round so there brain bed under figure can make it nice and more youthful and it is more like it is it has come for the future of could not do something if it was an AMG front style I do not think it is youthful that the star sits on top of the bonnet that makes the new class work with a retired sleigh for older people

I am wondering why the industry spends so much effort in such expensive lights on the cars. What was wrong with the old fashion lights to pay for the new such incredible amount if broken. The word inteligent maybe. not sure what could be so inteigent to have light on the road: ) I know how much it costs on an Audi dont want to thik abouth even the maybach prices

Hi Minnie! Love your new goodies, especially the Givenchy bag! It is so similar to the Celine box bag (which I had to return because the hardware on the strap hurt so bad. The Givenchy bag seems to have the same type of hardware on its strap. Could you let us know if the corners are sharp and if they dig into the skin? Thank you! I like their bag -xrepbag. com

Dont worry abt having to fork out money for maintenance in 10/20 years time. A lot of these will end up in scrapyards so you'll get used spares on the cheap. As great as it is, this maybach (or any maybach really) wont become a classic like RR phantom.

I really enjoy his reviews and just a bit disappointed because I truly enjoy Maybach cars but if you-re paying that much for such a wonderful car I-d expect the entire front grill area to be all chrome, not plastic on the bottom, but otherwise a beautiful car

- This shows that most filthy rich people are short- look at how Matt's feet are so close to the passenger seat! I'm short so I guess this is the first sign of being a billionaire -

I-m really interested to see how reliable all these screens are as they age, I-m scared that in like 20/25 years you-ll lose access to all the cars functions cause the screens just died
