BMW all day everyday! Not even a contest! I've had (and still got) a 3 series BMW for work, I drive all over the country in it and it blows me away! It does everything I ask of it and doesn't disappoint one bit! I absolutely love it, I did have to swap with a colleague for a day who had a Merc CLS. I hated it, and couldn't wait to get my beema back!

You can-t compare a standard baseline E63 S with the highest performance model M5. Not fair. Mercedes only make the E63s not just a normal E63 anymore. It-s their base car and your comparing it to the highest performing M5? Be fair and compare model for model, base e63s vs base m5. The biased Carwow has against Mercedes is MASSIVE.

You think to yourself. Ah. the horsepower is pretty close between these cars, but the Mercedes makes more torque. This should favor the E63.
. and then you realize BMW always lies about their power figures and the car probably makes 50-75hp/tq more than its actual rating. lol

Actually, the ceramic breaks give you a better stoping power, do 2 stops with each car and you will see that at the first stop both cars will stop one to another, but in the second one, the car with the steel breaks will stop maybe 2 cars ahead of the one with ceramic breaks-

Hi Mat! According to your standards, for a better chance for BMW, you should compare this E63 with BMW 520d, both have normal confort seats (not those tight M seats, panoramic roof (not super light carbon roof) and soft suspension, like a limo!

Mercedes is sick on the outside as always, but the interior of mercedes is. absolute ass for me, the BMW M5 interior is sick for me, if the amg 63 S had the same interior as the BMW m5, that would be the perfect car for me.
