Introducing the all-new BMW M240i! It-s the -M-Lite- version of the new BMW 2 Series coupe, and in this review, Mat-s going to find out if it-s worth the -46, 000 starting price, or whether you should hold out and wait for the upcoming BMW M2 instead. For starters, let-s see what powers this all-new sports coupe. Under the bonnet, you-ll find a 3-litre straight-six turbocharged petrol engine that can deliver 374hp & 500Nm! What-s more, they also drive all four wheels and BMW claims it helps propel the M240i to 60mph in 4. 3 seconds! In terms of design, there are a number of differences to the standard 2 Series. There-s a sportier bumper at the back coupled with wheel arch extensions around the side. You-ll also find bigger air intakes and a larger bumper upfront. And naturally, there are multiple M badges across the car. The M badges continue once you-re inside, too, with M stitching on the seat belts which support you in the all-new sports seats! Otherwise, the interior is well designed and comes with quality materials throughout. So what do you think - is the M240i the must-have BMW sports coupe? Or should you upgrade to the M4 or wait for the new M2? You-ll have to stick with Mat to see for yourself!

I'll never be a fan of 2 door coupes. I've never bought one. Never will. As potent as this car is, it's immediately rendered impractical because of its two doors (for my personal use case, that is. Since I hate the 1 Series hatch both for its looks and cramped interior, and since the 3 Series is slightly cramped for me as well, I guess if I'm forced to buy a BMW at gun point, it will have to be the 5 Series saloon. It's the most practical for a tall 191cm bloke like me. AND it has 4 doors.

Could you try arranging a B58 battle?

2018 340i
I think a lot of people that are looking for these cars are very interested in all of them based around the engine itself.
Anyway, thought it would be a pretty sweet video. There isn't a single good video around of B58 vs B58.

My god what a gorgeous vehicle. I just don't understand the critics. The 3D styling of the taillights, the way they did the headlights, etc. it just looks so good. Maybe I feel that way because I'm not a BMW purist? I've never been attracted to BMWs until this new 2 series. Excited for my 230i.

Despite being the overall most practical and better performing, the Audi is also the most affordable where I live so there's not really any reason to consider anything other than Audi.
BMW is the best looking though, it's subjective but I just love the 2 seater coupe look.

This is the car i thought would never see the light of day, and probs wouldnt have if they didnt make an M3 xdrive. Always annoyed me in the UK that the only xdrive they made was a shitty 2ltr diesel. Having come from a B58 m240i i can only imagine how capable this is irl.

Im with Mat on this one, never liked the Michelin tyres, at least not on MC. Have tested several, and its the only brand that makes me uneasy with the front wheel, feels like its gonna slip. And it have aswell. You don't get the confidence with them.

M1 coupe, M3 sedan, m3 coupe, m5 sports back, x3, x5 are the only cars bmw should have (with the lower i variants and convertibles for the coupes) put more attention into less models. Cut out all the filler.

I LOVE HOW IT DOESN'T POP AND BANG LIKE A GARBAGE FAKE CAR ejem VW group 2. 0 tsi engines. It just sounds like the glorious i6 it is. Yeah a bit muted compared to the old gen but we can't complain to BMW: (

I was immediately done with this car when you said automatic only. I'll keep holding onto my old 328i sport package 6 speed. It doesn't have a lot of power, but the 6 speed still makes it fun to drive.

I couldn't work out what Matt said about the Michelins, it sounded like he said they were a bad tyre, is that right? I thought the Pilot Sports were meant to be good, can anyone chime in?
