Love my fast cars, but most of the cars reviewed here are no longer for the average person - just the privileged few. We all haven't got 100k to lash on a new electric milk float. It became a joke when Honda's Civic R is 47k! It's a hot hatch. Remember when a hot hatch was an affordable dream for most. It's just a one big effin piss take now!

A lot of 'interesting speculation', but the bottom lines for me were:
1. Getting bigger and heavier. Even faster-damaged roads!
2. Costing a LOT more money. Few being 'owned', most PCP, etc.
Will any of these 'mass produced' high power vehicles actually have any practical application in current / modern / near-future society?

Oh boy we are getting so close to the era of flagship halo cars being full electric models! That's a game changer.
Soon it'll be golf GTi's, civic type R's, Audi RS3's.
And it'll make traditional car guys shit the bed and cry and the comments section will be on fire with complaints.

Carwow, you guys should do a video every year comparing your car predictions to what they are in reality when revealed. I think you guys have been pretty spot on in the past few predictions. I hope that is what the RS6 E-tron would look like, fingers crossed.

I'm all for combustion engines over electric don't think electric is the future but if most / all cars are going electric not your average Joe will be able to go buy one unless it's a Nissan leaf due to the price of them

Gas cars wont be able to compete with electric cars anymore. A future RS6 would have to compete with the Tesla Model S Plaid or Lucid Air. I'm finally seeing the end of the gas cars. And it's coming closer and closer.

This new RS6 has 20, 000bhp but weighs 35. 4 tonnes. It will still do 0-60 in 3 seconds because of power to weight ratio but can t actually turn left or right without digging a hole in the road.

To summarize the new Audi PPE will just offer higher voltage and bigger battery. Nothing about efficiency and performance. Tesla model s plaid will stay ahead for a long time!

Freakin' sad. Don't care about it's a bit faster than a comparable combustion engine model. There's more to it than that and the EV's alone are a dead end

The new Audi RS6 is absolutely insane! It looks so cool, futuristic and sporty and it have an amazing 800hp! I love the new RS6! I like the electric one!
