Is driving as a FWD car all the time.
The omly advantage of rs3 is waaay less thansmission looses at high speed on dry because it uses only front axle for traction.

This reminds me of one of the dumbest things I ever did in a car. I was in my early 20's, and owned a 1988 Mustang GT. I was on the outer belt of my city, and a Nissan 300zx started to come pass me. I caught up with him, and we started going faster.
We got up to 115 mph in the pouring rain, and I decided to back off.

Hate to be a bore here but the last time I cared about revving my car stationary I was 18! It s all about the sound on acceleration imo, cars sound so much better under load. The only other time I d like my car to sound good stationary is with launch control and two step, but only if it was something like a GTR etc

Let me help Mat with rev limiters- they are to combat high twattery. People that sit in stationary cars (or on bikes) bouncing off the limiter- are twats. Simple
There s an engineering explanation too. It can create bore score if the oil isn t hot.

EU deregulated and is allowing more revs for soft-limiters now. .
But with Brexit these changes don't apply to UK - luckily it is imple to distinguish, by keeping all right-hand-drive vehicles with the software limiting to 3000rpm.

Matt, at the beginning of your video, you said that the RS7 is the NON performance model, so the one with only 600 HP! Dindo also presented the car as the 600 HP model! So why the graphic with the RS Performance numbers!

Rules they should do like BMW E90
i have a soft limiter or something if its in gear and i get 0. 1 more bar of boost but if i desactivate the traction control there is no soft limiter.

I know it's probably more tricky than we realise to get these cars together but it's a shame when one of the cars isnt stock. Either mapped or has slick tyres etc. Invalidates the test.

I really hope its true that we will lose soft limiters. The new Q8 facelift has real exhausts now so I really do hope we lose them damn soft limiters aswell as the fake exhausts.
