Was the headline an April fool's joke for me? My grandfather used to work in TELCO (Tata Motors) in the '60s and got trained by Mercedes Benz in Stuttgart, Germany (at those times TELCO and Mercedes Benz had close cooperations. In the 90s and early 2000s he would tell me every detail about how a just produced Unimog would complete difficult tests before being delivered to the customer and how huge its tires were compared to any other SUVs. I am in my 30s now, I know about Unimog even before I passed my school final.

The width of the front tires was designed to be wide enough to allow 2 rows of potatoes to pass underneath the vehicle without crushing the potatoes. Unimog means universal vehicle in German because it is basically unstoppable. The U1300L is the one to get. Mercedes also designed some axles for it called fast axles that allow for a top speed that is higher than 56mph. These unimogs are my favorite truck of all time. Hummers are half as good as unimogs are.

Thanks for doing the feet to meters conversion. For real, I hate it when that is not put in the videos as much as you guys hate it when you see something in kilometers or meters. It's not difficult for the editor to add a couple of numbers in the video for these imperial to metric conversions.

Ha, well people like to make RC trucks look like them and a Unimog body for a 1/10th crawler is not uncommon so I was very excited to see this I knew they existed and are bad ass but never knew their history thanks for doing an episode on them.

You have got to do an up to speed on the dodge power wagon now. Especially after doing the unimog. And please do a bumper 2 bumper on a 1958 Plymouth Fury.
