why do you think you dont get cool carshere in portugal, where I live, you can buy cool cars but they are so expensive, gas is so expensive, taxes are so high that we cant buy them (a used s 2000 costs more than 30 thousand dollars here) and modifiing cars is impossible with our laws sooooo. you are absolutely the luckiest. oh and if some can have fun cars, they are never powerful because of taxes and fuel. a 5L mustang here costs around 100K dollars with no extras and you will spend half your salary in fuel and taxes. SO DONT COMPLAIN

Renault R5 Alpine and turbo. Not turbo 2. Rover Mini Metro turbo, Fiat Uno turbo, Lancia Intergrale, BMW E36 323tiAnd you are wrong about the wagons, there was always a demand in Germany for fast Wagons. I am not 100% sure but I think in Germany, Switzerland and Austria they sell more wagons than saloons. Audi helped at that time simply Porsche to survive, the company run by Porsche's grandson and Mercedes as good neighbours did as well. And they both wanted to piss off BMW.

Both the Stratos and the RS200 are as rare as hen's teeth. I've never seen a roadgoing version of either. Most of the RS200s have probably ended their life as rallycross cars in the late 80s to early 90s and been wrecked beyond repair. I'd switch both of them out on list with a Cossie and a Delta Integrale. They were more accessible to the average Joe due to being built in much higher numbers and being much cheaper.

Related to companies basically screwing over international sales opportunities, there are TONS of Japanese companies that never mess with international sales. Hopefully this pandemic teaches them not to rely only sale from retail or from local market. I'm talking to you Strict-G I want that Gundam shirt, and it's going to be Autumn by the time I visit Tokyo next Get it together

I swear I have seen an MC12 driving around in the US somewhere over a decade ago. I was driving through Yellowstone and one of the cars ahead of us was a white maserati 2 door with blue lower accents. Might not have been an mc12 but I distinctly remember the maserati badge, the two tone paint and it being a 2 door

Im greek and here cars above 1900cc are a pain in the ass from taxes. No engine swaps allowed and you are allowed to lower or higher up your car 5 inches. And there are many other laws that are way too strict that I don't remember. We are jealous of you americans because you are so free in terms of car customization.

Why are you so obsessed with that. You guys can afford a Demon without any problems, in Europe, Demon would cost twice as much plus petrol in far more expensive as it is in US. Just enjoy in that V8 sounds you have.

Speaking of cars not coming to the US, i heard the new Yaris GR-4 also won't come there. You know. the supposedly homologated version of Toyota's Yaris WRC powered by a 3cyl turbo capable of producing around 250hp?
