In our most satisfying episode yet, the miata gets the deep cleaning it s so desperately needed from the beginning AND we sanitize those commonly touched areas in order to stay safe and healthy! We ll show you how to deep clean the Interior, the Engine Bay, and the Exterior while we try to bring our miata back to her former glory. Bo: Just a little tip: don't get your cheap ass claybar from China, the ones I got were waaaaaay to hard and not really knead able. I did a test bit on the miata with a Lot of lubricant and it scratched the shit out of it. Buffed right out but still, beware

Pressure washer tips, don t use it unless you know how. It can remove all your protective layers if misused. It will also wear down your clear coat and that s the purpose we detail the car; to protect and enhance the clear coat because that is what makes our car shine. General rule for pressure washers is to use it at a distance where you can hold your hand in front of the stream without it hurting you. If it hurts your hand it will strip your protective layers. Also you should not use it head on, it is safest if used at an angle that makes the stream as parallel as possible while removing the dirt. I personally use the pressure washer for the foam cannon, agitate the dirt with a two bucket method and then rinse the car with a garden hose. I never use the full force of the pressure washer on my car. It has kept the clear coat on my car looking great after two years when I last did a swirl removal. It does have minor swirl marks that were done when I took my car for warranty work and the dealer washed the car:

Hello guys, as a professional detail the info in this video is fantastic. There are some issues I would bring up. 1) make sure to wash your car in a shady place. Or early day/ a cooler day. this will help greatly. Second that interior cleaner he used works well but it doesn't get anything out. You're just spreading it. I would recommend that if you use it use a softer bristle brush, and try to wipe it out if you don't have an extractor. (You can even use a shop vac) and lastly i would recommend using a washing method by panel instead of going higher mid lower. While you should use the higher mid lower on each panel. It will just help keep the dirt from transferring as long as you rince your mitt often. Lastly please get a grit guard. Google it. Keeps dirt off your mitt. That's all. If you want more detail info there are plenty of videos on here by great guys

I just did this to my S550 over the weekend. My wife said it looked awesome and thought I was done after the wash. I pulled a Billy Mays and pulled out the clay bar. Huge difference in cleanliness and smooth finish. Always clay bar if you can. It s amazing how much trapped dirt is still in the paint

You ideally need to polish the car after using a claybar to get rid of the slight marring that it causes. Plus on a car with paint in that condition I'm sure it could do with a good polish anyway to get rid of the micro scratching and swirls I guarantee are there

Ok so if I wanted to wash my car at home but let s say. I couldn t go to the store because I don t want corona and I live far from the nearest city, so I can t pick up car specific soap. Is there other household detergents that are safe? (Dish soap)

Use that pressure washer and degreaser/toothbrush to clean the nasty door hinge pillars and door bottoms as well. Strange to completely omit the door and trunk jambs. 0000 steel wool will clean the road grime from your glass.

Man Donut Media should hit up Pan the Organizer, or Larry from AMMO NYC. Would be an epic video to watch. (Larry has over a million subs, and is well known in the detail business, and he is such a cool guy: D.

Isopropyl Alcohol is good for cleaning, but just be careful or avoid areas with labels as it could rub them off. For those areas, use a good interior cleaner that WONT remove your button labels.

Anyone with a newer car please make sure if you take the seat out, disconnect the battery from its terminals and then detach the wires under the seat, you don't want your airbag going off.
