I always like the look of the car, but from what I hear it was pretty much a badly built car. For start the F1 engine they advertised barely had anything to do with an actual F1 engine. I think only the block was the same. Also lower revs, biggest (heavier) engine, only thing the car actually shared with a F1 racer was that the engine was bolted to back of the driver something that made the ride almost painful (at least at faster speeds. Also even though it was like 7-8 years younger than the F40, it was slower. If fact unless I am mistaken, it's worse than the F40 in every possible way regarding driving.
But I guess you can't mention these things when the owner that lets you drive it stands behind the camera.

I think they key is shaped like that since the door lock is facing upwards, unlike most cars where the locks face outward. With the bend in the key, you don't have to finagle your wrist in a weird position to insert the key into the door lock. That's my guess.

It was the most overlooked Halo Ferrari for many years, but I feel it is in the ideal sweet spot of mechanical and electronics. As a driver's car it is more comfortable than the F40 and still more engaging than the Enzo.

I remember when these came out when I was a teenager. I also believe there was some strict guidelines that had to be met in order for Ferrari to allow the purchase. Such as owning a number of previous Ferrari cars.
