The 2021 Honda Ridgeline is a cool pickup truck for people who aren't traditional truck buyers. The Ridgeline is updated for 2021, and today I'm reviewing the 2021 Honda Ridgeline. I'm going to show you all the quirks and features of the Ridgeline, and I'll show you all the interesting benefits. I'm also driving the Ridgeline, and I'll show you what it's like to drive the Honda Ridgeline. Joseph: The emergency release inside of the trunk is pointless if you just put weight over it in the bed. It s not like anyone would notice the weight either.
On that note I would say the Honda Ridgeline isn t catering to truck or non-truck people, it s built for serial killers: )

Okay, we get it. It costs a lot of money but doesn't have frittery crap that costs a lot of money. Have you considered that it has something that does cost that much? Here's a tip for the noob: Cars are different and do different things different ways for different purposes for people with different needs and desires; it's not like a Chinese take-away menu. You get 1 thing off engine list, one thing off body list, all meals come with fries. For five dollars extra you can have electric seats. Oh well, my truck cost fifteen bucks therefore it necessarily includes electric seats. Maybe it has the five dollar engine. performance, or quality, or quality and performance or bed trunks or. . sheesh, boy.

So sad. Like a gut kick. I've been waiting for you to review the Ridgeline. Instead of reviewing the truck for what it is, you got the HPD version to mock. HPD deserves to be mocked, however if you drove the RTL-E or Black version, you could have reviewed the truck on it's own merits without being so hung up on the identity crisis. You would have had all the features you were complaining about missing, such as heated seats, sunroof, rear usb ports. I think you gave a fair review of the HPD version, but not the Ridgeline.

OK, so I bought a '19 RTL-E and the' boring' comment hit way too hard. It was the sole reason for ditching it and getting my used Golf R (mostly because I missed a manual transmission. The other reason was because a lot of the features that made the RTL-E the top trim was included on the 2020 model and I wanted out before they hit moat of the market.
Fantastic smaller utility vehicle with a trick bed. Obviously not for the off-roader, but an extremely useful (albeit boring) vehicle.

I ve been looking forward to this review for awhile! As I really like the ridgeline and value dougs unbiased opinion! Great review, only complaint is the price in this review. The base mode is 36500 which is this truck + the hpd at 2800
I think if he had reviewed a true 42k MSRP ridgeline he would ve enjoyed it more as the one model up with leather, heated seats, moon roof, nav etc comes in at 39k before hpd. And that would ve better show a better value for the truck.

The sideways tailgate and box trunk are both good features, cant tell you how many times i have to crawl into my box to grab something because the tailgate keeps be back 3 feet from the box, and the trunk would be great for storing straps and whatnot that stay with the truck all the time. Everything else about this truck though is no good. What is even going on with the bottom of those hpd fender flares?

This is what happens, when you install sedan wheels ON A TRUCK! They look too big for a sedan, but they look ridiciouluslly small when on a SUV. I believe, that Honda will offer full sized wheels, so that this Honda wouldn't look like a toy truck that was broken, and then fixed randomly by a child.

I love this NART, but if and when they electrify the Ford Maverick (with a front trunk) then there's really no reason to buy a Ridgeline because the trunk in the best selling point having to remove stuff off the bed to access it is annoying

Other than better MPG, what advantage does this truck have compared to a tacoma/ranger or other midsized truck? For the price it seems like you are losing a lot. Once the Ford Maverick comes out I see no reason for anyone to buy this truck.

like the world is coming to its end tomorrow, all this unfixable, complicated electronic quirks instead robustness, durability and reliability of simple machines i really can't understand why are people buying these new vehicles
