Ferrari 612 Scaglietti review! The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is a special car -- a V12-powered luxury grand touring coupe that's becoming a total bargain. Today I'll show you around the 612 and show you why it's such a bargain -- and I'll reveal all of the quirks and features of the 612 Scaglietti. I'm also going to drive the 612 and show you what it's like on the road. Ehtisham: Fun Fact, the Maserati Granturismo came out at the same time as this. Surprise surprise. they have the same steering design and what's really quirky is that behind the Maserati steering, you find the exact same scrolling buttons. But the Maseratis dont have the display like the ferrari does in the cluster.

I first saw this car in red at the L. A. Auto Show in 1997 when I worked at Cerritos Auto Square my buddies at Norm Reeves and me were hell raisers in those days. there was a bar, need I say more? Ha! Ha! Ha! We all had a steak dinner around 3 AM at the Pantry, and this car was all I could talk about the rest of the night!

I got a brand new car that cost about 50, 000 less than this beat this by a second and a third 0 to 60 and goes about just as fast TopSpeed wise looks better than it is far more reliable and has A mid engine. And if your car enthusiast worth half your salt then you know what I m talking about.

The only reason I'm upset at Doug's videos is because everytime I see one about a new or upcoming vehicle and watch it, he describes it so well and amazingly that it makes me want to buy every single one! And I can only afford maybe one!
Not to mention the luxury brands, your killing me

That car is beautiful. Especially in person. Ive seen one on the road here in LA that was black (maybe dark grey) with the side swoosh in a whitish grey color) w custom wheels and i think a body kit and it looked stunning. Something a batman villain would drive.

The FF is a way better car. Sure, it's not the best looking thing, but I think it's better than the 612. But the FF has the dual clutch instead of the uber-crap f1. Not to mention it has basically the same engine as the F12.

Doug can you explain the fascination with scud shields? Does everyone option them because cars with them depreciate less than those with out? And if so is the depreciation difference greater than the cost of the option?

I can't believe anyone would think this car wasn't pretty or Ferrari-like. To my eyes, it's like the mid-point between the earlier 575 and later 599 (one of my all-time favourites, and that's no bad thing.

Kid at kindergartner: I was molested and locked in a Prius trunk, what about you David?
David: I was also molested but I was locked in a Ferrari trunk.
All the kids: wow you re so fancy.

The styling really looks good to me. I love how it pays tribute to older models while staying clean. That totally fits the GT spirit. I think it will age pretty well, and it already did.
