The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Is a New and Much Improved SUV
video description
You'll find more of these soccer mom vehicles in Laguna Beach than you will in the mountains or the ranch.
And has anyone else noticed in the typical California commercial of having surfers, which none of those in it look lie surfers, there are no waves and the one girl on the left has skaggs but then the next shot no skaggs. Why?

I disagree about the redesign comment. If the replacement model looks totally different from the prior one, it destroys residual values of those older models. This alienates the customers and you risk losing them to other brands. That's why most companies will Evolve and not start fresh with every generation. Let's be honest, this looks pretty similar to the old one, but more modern. Jeep knew exactly what they were doing. Hyundai on the other hand, they don't. The Sonota is a good example. The new one is ugly as sin and sells poorly, so it's already being redesigned and its only a few years old.

We just bought an Overland trim with the 3. 6. It has plenty of power. The transmission does a great job of keeping it in the power band and shifts very smoothly. It's a great SUV. My wife loves it (it's her daily) and this will also be the family road trip car. Very happy with this. Doug does miss a lot of details but he's not too bad. Just little things. :)

Am i the only one that doesnt like the piano black sections on the center console? Seems like it is just only going to show of the dust and any scratches that will happen over time. Other than that though i really like the interior, especially the way they mounted the center screen. That floating design is pretty nice looking.

Can t get over the potential reliability issues with Jeeps, maybe they ve gotten better over the years? But that s all I know of them since childhood. Otherwise I m absolutely in love with the new styling inside and out and all with the capability Jeep is known for, it s a really handsome vehicle if not exciting to some.

What's funny is you don't even realize almost all of the features were on the old grand Cherokee. Biggest difference is refreshed interior, new infotainment, cooled middle seats and of course, 3 rows. Also, saying it off-roads worse than the land cruiser is a hot take since you didn't do any comparisons on that.

I find it strange that you can get 290HP or 360HP optional when the smaller lighters Grand Cherokees get 290Hp, 360HP, 475HP and even 707HP options. I suppose they didn't want to pressure the Grand Wagoneer as the Grand Cherokee L being too similar but you know they could've offered more power easily.

I was really surprised seeing the NEW Jeep Grand Cherokee in Munich few months ago.
I'm NOT sure, if I've seen the long, or short version - It was camouflaged and had Polish license plates, but it was clearly an US model (it had side marker lights)

You can make anything you want, but a NEW car must have a CLEAN monitor. GM must not give you new models for testing after that. The car itself looks. fresh. It it has no gypsy golden aluminium panels I'd rather buy it.

I'm sorry to disagree with you about the buttons on the back of the steering wheel. It's a terrible place for them to be for people with disabilities like myself. Love the rotary shifter though!
