Car Companies Should Make These Cars!

Today I'm going through several cars automakers should build! Doug DeMuro is going to explain why I think these cars should be built, and talk through several vehicles that really should be put into production. Auto: I work for the largest Nissan dealership in Canada, and you re right about the XTerra. We should definitely have an off road SUV, especially with how popular the 2022 Frontier refresh has been for us so far. HOWEVER, the XTerra that is already built for other markets is actually just a rebadged Rogue from North America, so Nissan doesn t actually really have one anywhere.
I don t think the United States ever got the XTrail but we did here in Canada and it s an even more off-road focused SUV than the XTerra was. It would be even better seeing them come back, the service department is all over them when they come in and we usually see them in manuals when they do.

It absolutely blows my mind that GM has not made a Silverado or Sierra competitor to the Ford Raptor. The Raptor has sold amazingly for well over a decade now and GM continues to sit on the sideline like they do right now with the Wrangler and the Bronco. Even Toyota beat GM with the Tundra TRD Pro, and I cannot figure out why GM hasn't made their own Raptor competitor. (The Silverado Trail Boss is not it)

The one that I think should be made in addition to this list is the Dodge Ramcharger. Take a short bed single cab RAM 1500, put a cap and backseats in it, and put it on TRX suspension. OR take a Wrangler and drop a RAM body on it. I would also love to see a Pacifica SRT HELLCAT but seeing as that the HEMI is out of production (or soon will be) I doubt it will. It s be awesome though

One that I haven't seen mentioned but has been on the minds of every modern muscle car fan. A reincarnated Dodge Magnum with a hellcat variant. This cat could be an RS6 Avant /E63 wagon contender while under utting them on price and beating them in power figures. I know there would be a niche market for them but they would sellout and become collectors item.

i think nissan should make an s16 and it should try to be a dirt cheep rear wheel drive car. the cheapest rear wheel drive car made in a long time, and i think it would hit a market that is increasingly under served as used car prices on all rear wheel drive coops start hitting the prices of the cheapest new cars.

Ford/Lincoln should bring back the Lincoln Mark series. 2 door, V8 powered coupe, with a very high end trim. They could base it on the Mustang platform. They already make the interior that is comparable with the Navigator. Where are the high end full size coupes?

I m surprised with the lack of the dodge magnum being on the list, dodge had a performance wagon when America didn t have anything else, now an SRT8 magnum goes for pretty good money, and I d love to see one with charger styling and a hellcat motor

Since mid sized pickup trucks and the Ford Maverick and Hyundai Santa Cruz are popular, Subaru can take the Subaru Outback and make a utility crossover pickup version of it to compete, especially with the Ford Maverick and Hyundai Santa Cruz.

Nissan don t even sell the terra in Australia or New Zeland. Every single manufacturer that sells a pick up here has an suv version, Ford Everest, Isuzu MUX, Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Nissan don t bother. They are beyond broken.

The problem with electrics - for preppers - is obvious. You can carry away and store a limited amount of surplus gasoline, but you can't do the same for an electric. If the grid goes down, you're better off with a donkey or ox.
