Lexus isn't about competing on tech, performance, and sizzle. It's about reliability, longevity, and comfort. My wife drives a NX300 which we picked up used. It has 60, 000 miles on it and there isn't a squeak or rattle in it. The seats still look new. All the switches and knobs have a quality feel to them. The ownership experience has been excellent. We could have picked up a used BMW X3 for the same money, but would our results be the same?

Trust Toyota/Lexus to snatch defeat from the Jaws of victory.
I've owned several Toyota products from new and they all had at least one irritating bit of cost-cutting.
I absolutely dislike the brand because of its penny-pinching, bad styling, and cheap looking interiors, but I keep buying because of the reliability and lower cost of ownership.
Truly a grudge purchase every time.

Foh 130k for basic azz features and not todays worlds STANDARD nun premium features smmfh sad asf. . no wireless charge no Ambient lighting like. Bmw Mercedes, basic 360 camera view, gauge cluster basic and small and a lil analog still, gear shifter basic all for 130k TRUCK IN 2022 that screen in the middle is tooooo small it s a sedan screen for a BIg azz truck 130k lmfao

Why I like the LC and LX. Body on frame, tough, off road capable, tank like vehicle.
Why doug doesnt like the LX: all the reasons above.
Doug doesnt unserstand that though the LX is suppose to the ultra luxury, its only like 10-15k more than an LC. Therefore is basically is an LC with better interior materials. Idk what he expected.

These cars do really really well in the MENA and general African regions. Having a reliable vehicle is a massive plus in my country, also a lot of them people get here are armoured.
You'd want an armoured vehicle that basically costs twice the price of a standard one to last a long long time.

Toyota has ALWAYS been behind technology wise. That includes Lexus to. They wait 10-20 years to do complete re-designs. They are probably the worse. Kia s fords, chevys, Hyundai practically every brand is with the times now. Not Toyota/Lexus. A 130K suv with no wireless charging.

Man over 100k to seat 4 people. The plus though I like the engine. Though Toyota needs to bring a Diesel they think the US doesn't like them we do. A twin turbo Diesel would be awesome for large SUVs and pick ups if Toyota wants to sell Heavy Duty versions of the Tundra.

I would love to see Doug review another INFINITI vehicle. He did the Q50 but that is the only INFINITI he has ever reviewed. It would be cool to see him review the QX80 and compare it to this car. The QX55 and new QX60 are also vehicles I would like to see reviewed.

Lexus do a horrible job in their luxury department I see nothing luxury about a Toyota I'm sorry I give them credit for being reliable so if they're catering to a old woman then it's a perfect car but a gentleman like me I'm not buying no Lexus I'm sorry
