CHECK OUT TURO I think the Maserati Ghibli is a terrible value -- and I think it absolutely isn't worth 80, 000 or more. I rented this 2015 Maserati Ghibli from Turo to explain why. Rampant Lion: Again making comments on reliability pulled out of thin air. All those features it does NOT have may have been left out on the assumption Maserati owners will actually want to DRIVE this (yes, expensive for what you get) sedan with tradition and heritage behind it. Your point of view is based on very little knowledge of cars for someone who professes to be an enthusiast. Perhaps you see yourself as such based on spending a great deal of time AROUND cars. Certainly hasn't been from time spent LEARNING about them to have the info to back up these continued assumptions being made. Really do like your presentations enough to forgive the required YouTube drama queen stuff, but may have to turn the volume down. Well, perhaps mute. But, then I'd miss the few actual, good points being made. Mmmm.

Maybe thats only a problem of time and resources because the miracle called Sergio Marchionne who saved the entire industry of Chrysler and Fiat wasnt without compromises, so they said use that component, the Maserati buyer wont know is from Alfa Romeo or Jeep, then we'll fix it in the next model sort of. even developing the New Giulia and Stelvio and bring back to the US the Alfa Romeo brand wasn't easy, so many things to do and so little time. But look at the big picture, Chrysler models are better quality now, Jeep sells a lot and the new models are well designed, then they share the Italian and American base knowledge of doing things. Yes, 85. 000 to see other components cars is not a good thing.

Yeah, but the 550i is ugly as sin. I pay 70k for a car I want it to be styled by someone who did not learn their art in a packaging supplier. Also what is the problem with a low-resolution reversing camera? What the hell are you using it for, taking portraits? My car has an excellent camera, but it doesn't help me any more than a low-resolution one would. The lines predicting where I will go depending on steering position are far more important than the high resolution. As for music - do you not have Bluetooth on the iPhone?

Im not a big car guy and usually when people talk about cars i dont understand anything they talk about, but the reason I can never stop watching your videos is because youre probably the only one that shows what is to me the only interesting thing about any car - the quirks of its features and design. The only thing I'm missing is a dash cam pointing at the gauges and front window when you drive, so a person like me can at least see the dials go up when you accelerate: D

Well, first all dont review a 4 years old model, maybe if you review a 2019 more then half of your comments is gone. Who buy a Maseratti dont look for gadgets or toys, look for Italian design and way to drive a sedan with Ferrari engine. If you want gadgets buy a xbox. You own a Maseratti? OF COURSE NOT. drive for half an hour a loaner old model car dont give you a reason to destroy a car is in production before you born.

Have you ever checked out the cheap crap they use in the Corvette? the Vette is all plastic, real cheap button and switches taken from a Chevy Sonic, and the list goes on. Personally I don't want all those safety features, I've been driving for over 45 years and never once needed all those gadgets, what people need to do is learn how to drive and they too won't need that crap.

So, I've just seen a video where you said your favourite car is the Kia Soul. and you don't like the Ghibli? I think I need a psychologist now (Serious comment: people who buy a Ghibli don't need lane assist, rear assist, blind spot assist. they just want to drive, not to be driven. If they wanted to be driven they would have bought a Tesla)

To be fair, Id rather drive a Maserati than any BMW. I want neither, but the Maserati is just less common. Doug do you have a suggestion on how to make a radio/infotainment system compatible with future phones that have not even been developed yet? For this price Im getting a Cayman since its better than both for me.

I believe you really just dont like Maserati Brand. on all your vehicle reviews all you say about the Maserati is JUST ISNT WORTH IT. btw all cars have plastic, so what do you put in the place of the plastic around the radio, I'm just saying. just be honest and say you just dont like them

If Maserati offered all the gadgets, you mentioned, your car would be in the shop 100% of the time instead of just 50% of the time. Maserati cant even figure out how to make what they do offer reliable, how are they going to make all the new wizbang technology reliable?
