When I was a kid I thought the F40 was a dream car, now that I've seen it inside and out I think I wouldn't spend a penny on that thing. I sure don't have the money to buy a 1. 3mil car but even if I did I wouldn't buy it, even at the original retail price and I absolutely wouldn't pay 1. 3mil for that hey people look at me exterior and the plain and cheap interior with the type of fabric you would find on the inside of a speaker cabinet, there are too many fanboys with too much money. A cord as a door handle, I do get the meaning of overpriced garbage. I'd buy a 100K Corvette and a 1. 2 mil house over this in a heartbeat if I was into sports car.

One black one was truly ordered from Marinello by Corrado Feirenno not resprayed. A few yellow were made but we're indeed resprayed immediately after leaving the factory not at marinello. Ferrari records support black and yellow models ordered but since they were basically already made they were immediately resprayed directly from the factory. so the truth is that ferrari intended the car to be red only and they were produced that way but changed them BEFORE delivery. This isn't conjecture. look it up.

pretty sad that when they open the gas cap door you can see the overspray on the latch and whoever did the paint work on the car was too f lazy to take the little black rubber bumper out before they painted it. I can only imagine how much of a shitbox of singers are closed don't get me wrong I think it's one of the most gorgeous cars ever made but nothing pisses me off more than a Ferrari that's been repainted

If he didn't give it a 10 in styling, I would've had to unsub, but he didn't let me down. 0-60 in 3. 7s back then, it would've had to have been one of the fastest cars on earth. I wonder where he got that figure? From what I've seen over the years, I thought it was around 4. 5s. Regardless, it's an incredible car, and one of the best looking cars ever made for me.

Classy K certification. In one fell swoop doug gives his audience a low mental doug score? Nope. quite the opposite. With all the mixing of parts that Goes on. it follows that this would be useful at point of sale. Beyond this, bragging rights for those collectors who want the xtra comfort of knowing their car is original.

Sounds like Ferrari didn't have the ability to finish the car on the inside. Best way to not sell a car is to have no music. Car plus music is desirable. I'd rather see 3% grown per year on a 1. 3 million dollar home. Come talk to me on investments that will allow you growth and buy a reliable car with a stereo.

My deceased uncle bill left his f40 in the blazing hot Arizona sun for about 10 years. Now the leather seats are crack, the paint is sun bleached, mice are living in the pistons, most likely every single wire has been chewed. Rip for me. I could have inherited it.

The dash doesn't even have a screen? Doug really should educate himself a little about the cars before he does his review. Understanding the car's purpose might avoid things like wondering where the GPS NAV screen is or comparing it to a Ford Focus.
