Yes, Doug the 2005 was pretty bad, you should have test driven a 2009. They fixed all of the problems you mentioned, from the bad transmission (swapped out for a fantastic ZF 6-speed with a sensible stick) terrible Nav/Multi Media system (now a logical Bose system) to the placement of the cruise control buttons (now on the blinker stalk) and the reverse beep thing is gone. And the useless INFO button is also now functional as the Voice Command button for the Bose Nav/Media system. Test drive a newer model and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised I liked it so much, I bought one. Well, traded for it anyway. It's a Stealth Ferrari after all. Oh, and mine has a sunroof and heated seats. I drive it every chance I get Stick with the 2009-2012 models, the engines were the best during these four years.

I had a 08 Quatrporte. and the cruise control was in the same place. BUT. you could adjust the speed and reset with a control on the turn signal stalk. Maybe they listened to Doug. And ps. I didnt hate the car. I did have a sporty one with every option under the sun. Id buy another. well. if there werent 100s of other cars I have never owned and would like to try before buying another one. The only cars ive owned 2 of. come to think of it. was 2 e30 m3s. and 2 classic minis (which were my first 2 cars. first one a normal one. second one a tuned mad house that killed a metro turbo so ot could steal its engine. which I feel bad about now as the metro turbo is worth a fortune, probably because they all gave up their motors to the at the time far more desirable mini)

That wasn't your best review, it's an early one and it shows. Sure the QP has a few gremlins here and there but you reviewed the wrong car. Try the 4, 7 with the ZF, it will most likely have the features you miss (heated seats, sunroof etc, a decent transmission and won't cost a lot more than the model you tried. Cars beeping when put in reverse are common, in fact of the 3 cars I own, 2 make that beeping noise (including the Porsche. I don't own a QP, or any Maseratti, but this was poorly researched, extremely biased, and, at times, downright hateful. You got better, even though you are still a Maseratti hater to this day at least you're trying to make it less obvious.

I've had my 2007 QP for the last 8 years. My check engine light has never stayed on, I never changed no f1 pump or anything under the hood, I still have my original clutch with 22k miles and my interior is NOT blue. It's beige with light brown. I have heated, cooled and massaging seats. I have never used the radio because I installed an auxiliary wire to plug in my music. Trans does have a lag in it. Feels like driving a standard manual but it has 400hp so the car is still quick for a sedan. This guy tested a lemon.

Hi Doug, What is that stalk on the left side on the steering wheel? yes, that's right it's the Cruise Control. nice although quite an insanely biased review, maybe you should actually get your facts correct before you start maligning a vehicle you quite obviously detest that much? I've got the 2010 model with the standard 6 speed box, yes its got its quirks, but 25, 000 for a Ferrari derived V8 with the best engine note this side of a F1 car? its a bargain

Unfortunately, the sad truth is that probably there really are people in the world wholl buy things for the SOLE PURPOSE of looking rich. even it means buying a 20, 000, Old luxury/exotic car. People shouldnt mind what people think about them or their wealth. Just be a Holy Christian and God will give you favor with the world (regardless of your wealth. Im Living proof of that.

The car will shift with the paddle shifter even when M/A shift is off. OR at least mine does. I have a duo select. It will go back into drive mode automatically. The HUD display will show current gear after moving paddle and then go back to normal display because the car is in auto mode. using paddle doesn't automatically change drive mode. Something I would expect.

I have a 207 fully auto that I rarely drive if anyone wants to buy it. Id sell it for around 25k. Its white with black interior, in great condition. Sunroof, and doesnt have all those bad things he mentioned in the video. Its a great car. I have 5 cars and this one never gets driven.

Just a quick glance at the comments section tells me that Doug got this one all wrong. It honestly makes me wonder just how genuine his reviews really are. Some of his assessments about this particular car sound as if he was intentionally wrong about the majority of his complaints.

People who buy these now very cheap cars just to flaunt them cant afford to properly service them which is proportionally expensive, instead they fix them at tonys garage with cheap and nasty chinese parts and you see these cars turn into nasty turds on the road over time.
