I own a 2015 K900 V8 elite (top model they sold) I want to love it, but it enrages me. You cannot, really, ever turn of all the big brother stuff. Yes technically you can turn off traction control. Like most cars if you continue to hold the traction button for several more seconds the stability control turns off. But its not off Try gingerly slip sliding down a long farm driveway with an inch of fresh snow at 8mph. nope, damn thing panics and try's to take over. Hell if youre stopped on a hill after snowing at a red light, you are not going to make friends when it takes you 80 seconds, not kidding, to get the damn thing moving at all. Im told its a kia thing and they have gyroscopic sensors on each corner. Ill pry them off with my bare hands if I ever see them. The dealers are clueless how to fix anything that goes wrong. Hell i haven't even used up my 60, 000 mile free maintenance package yet. its 4 years old and i never ever drive it. worst purchase I ever made, so sad because if it would let me drive, the thing would be amazing. well they would have to fix the 3 count it takes for the engine to actually accelerate after you drop the hammer. or in its case the doily. Anyone knows how to get this thing into track mode or bedlam mode, steaks on me. Make that a case of steaks.

All the guys who think because it's badged as a Kia means it sucks must be pretty young. Thirty years ago lots of people looked down their noses at Lexus (because it was made by Toyota) and Infiniti (because it was made by Nissan, but today both of those brands are highly respected. It certainly wouldn't hurt for Kia to brand the K9000 with a different name to differentiate it from the lesser Kias, but quality is quality, regardless of the badge, and eventually people figure that out. I drive a 2015 Genesis, Hyundai's entry into the luxury class field. It is a great car -- performance, quality, looks, features, and comfort. If you feel like spending thousands more for a prestige brand, knock yourself out. But I buy a car to drive, not to brag. And nobody who rides in my car has ever been unimpressed with it.

The thing with this is just that it has no vibe. When you buy a Mercedes Benz you have the brand history and the screaming perfection. When you buy a Honda you have the JDM 80's sparking in your head when you buy a ford mustang or a muscle car you think about american spirit. Thats why VW also failed with their luxury models those brands Kia, Toyota, Hyundai, VW, Renault, Skoda they have no vibe its just a car or a tool and at this price I personally want more character in a vehicle. Even Tesla got this right.

You gave me a headache, the way you talk. One gets the distinct impression you think youre snarkier than you actually are. Had to stop it midway. I bet your wife LOVES it when you leave for the day so she doesnt have to listen to you. Oh, btw. the rental version of any vehicle will almost ALWAYS carry the most basic set of amenities, you dipstick As such your dilettante rant about this brands model vs the best versions of bmw, mercedes, et al is hardly grounded in objective comparison logic.

Why would the interior door light strip be Red? Red is much harder to see from a distance than most other colors: /. Btw Ford gave me a poece of PRINTER PAPER in my owners manual of my 2018 F150, theyre used for updates to correct previous versions, obviously. Atleast you get a real manual paper, not like Ford who printed it off Grandmas computer in black & white and stuck it in the back of the book. I'd like to see you blow whatever car brand you actually 'approve' of

I knew some neighbors here in Florida that traded the dealer back their Mercedes (S class, not sure what model) for this. They let me take a ride in it and I was less than impressed. The only other new car I've seen with such a low-grade interior is a Tesla with its random stitching on the upholstery. The K900 seemed sporty enough but at the end of the day. its still a Kia. C'mon.

Everything in this car makes sense. there is no real thing not even one that is out of place. The germans are not the benchmark, Kia for example follows a different philosophy in creating their vehicle and as a complete different product and philosophy should be appreciated and understood, if you like it or you don't that's personal opinion

Hmm. interior is a copy of my 2016 Hyundai Equus. Which, btw, I bought about a week ago for 23, 500. 00. Thanks for that tip, Doug. The curve and merge options simply tell you, if you have a route programmed, of upcoming curves and traffic merges. The traffic merge notification is very useful, I think. I don't have the curve notification turned on.

My financial adviser just bought a Kia K900, and he loves it. You get the same 10 year-100K warranty that covers all Kias. He was tired of the absurdly expensive maintenance and repair charges on his former car - a 700-series BMW. He had an oil leak on the BMW between the engine and transmission that BMW wanted 10, 000 to fix
