The 2022 Lexus NX Is a Competent Small Luxury Crossover

2022 Lexus NX review! Today I'm reviewing the Lexus NX, and I'll show you all the quirks and features of the NX, along with a full review of the 2022 Lexus NX. I'll also drive the new Lexus NX350 and show you what it's like behind the wheel. Kill: I really like the hybrid of the NX, especially with these current gas prices, but EVERY single one within like 50 miles of me was being sold with anywhere from a 5 to 10k markup, it's insane. I really wish Lexus could do something about the current situation with ADM because it's turning away potential customers. Ended up buying a fully loaded top trim CX-5 and although it doesn't get as good gas mileage as the NX, we got it for MSRP and it's a fantastic car for the money. Honestly I would've purchased the NX350h for a little more if there wasn't such an insane markup, but it is what it is, super happy with the Mazda

Wow, I guess I was expecting the new NX to have very few disadvantages but I was wrong. No movable 360 degree surround view camera, no wireless charger, no ventilated rear seats, no heated or cooled cup holders, no massaging seats, no heated armrests, no regular USB ports in the back, no heated windshield, no power folding mirrors, no parallel and perpendicular park assist, no full outlets in the entire car, no power folding rear seats, no rear camera washer, no headlight washers, no front and rear parking sensors, still pretty load road noise compared to its competitors, very little power (compared to competition) except the plug in hybrid, minimal seat adjustment, and a crappy gauge cluster. Once again Lexus significantly lacks behind its competitors.

Ugly, small and overpriced. Lexus has missed the mark on this on so many levels. Weird door mechanism, cheap looking touch screen, noisy run flat tires, base level is basically the RAV 4 engine and if you go up to the 350 it's 12k more than a better equipped RDX. I don't see this suv attracting any new buyers except hard core Lexus fans. I would either buy the base RDX that is larger, much cheaper and come loaded. or for a few thousand more than the Lexus NX 350 get the BMW 340i that so much fun to drive and blows the Lexus away in everything except reliability.

The entertainment system is pure crap Doug. It s using very old tech and screen resolution is low. The on screen graphics looks like it was designed by high school kids. Sorry but when a disappointment. Imagine buying this nice modern car only to find outdated technology laughing at you as you try to use this joke of a navigation system. Come Douglas you can do better!

Crossovers are. well, they're gay. A person that buys a crossover says I'm middle-aged, and never really cared about cars---all I need is something that can move my family unit from point A to point B. Someone that buys an upscale crossover is the same type of person, the only difference is that they want badge recognition.

This is the first Lexus Doug has actually liked other than the LFA and LC. I'm happy to see him come around and I am also happy to see Lexus pull their head out of the gutter and catch up with the rest of the market. Also, you should review an IS-F at some point, I speak for a group when I say I would love that review.

Typical how he waited for 15 minutes into the video to show the front. It was pretty clear he was making excuses for the outdated Toyota technology inside, but couldn't justify that front. I like Doug's videos, but he really needs to be less biased.

I can't get past the old school Cylon Centurian grill on these things. I think I'd like it better if it had a light bar above it with a red light that moved back and forth and a robot voice that said By Your Command when you unlocked the doors.

One thing that always annoys me about daddy doug when he compares this sort of vehicles he always compares their acceleration and handling to sports cars rather than vehicles in their own categories. Other than that nice video!
