Today Doug DeMuro is explaining why he doesn't review modified cars. I'm going to explain what a modified car is (to me, anyway, and then I'll cover the reasons why I only review clean, unmodified cars. Manny: Another No-Options S8, Doug?
We understand you do what you can, but knowing all the A8/S8 reviews you have made have been like this, why would you review this one as is? I would assume you would wait to find a nicely equipped S8.
You had to take down the regular A8 review a few years ago and then the 2020 S8 wasn't loaded either. We get it, you don't like Audis all that much, specially any of the A8s/S8s but doing these reviews gives them a worse reputation than it should.

Doug you need to understand the design philosophy of German vehicles in order to describe them as they themselves intend to. For instance, Audi is never about extravagance and flashy plastic interior trims like Mercedes does, BMW is conservative in their approach with modern design lines and material selection. Audi is about understated and sleeper type of monster which never shouts to everyone to Look at me.

There's a vid out there, something like, Top 10 Modern Car features that need to die soon. Add to that list Brightly Colored Brake Assemblies. Enough already with that. No One Cares Who Made Your Brakes. The people who actually do care already know. So you fancy car makers? You're ruining the looks of your fancy cars. In 5 years, that crap is NOT going to age well. Stop it. Let. It. Die. Thanks.

The Audi and other luxury cars of its ilk are fine as rentals for a couple of years with dealer maintenance, but I pity the poor person who buys one used and has to fix all of the luxury gadgets that will fail and which ran the initial cost of the vehicle through the roof.
On another note, I don't get big grills, black wheels and the color blue.

Love the subtle exterior, Audi always keeps it stealth. But the interior is too correspondent to that design, at the price point it really should be a more impressive/luxurious place to spend time - aesthetically (obviously the materials are high quality it s Audi. Even some stitching or piping that matches the ext color would help.

3: 35 I disagree. Audi s interiors are works of art, and I think that Audi started the flowy, piano black, art piece interiors with screens & fans integrated into the design that car brands like Honda, Mazda, and practically everyone else are now using.

Wow, the paint looks awful. I don't mean the color, but the orange peel texture. would expect a bit more on such an expensive car. Btw, those hideaway vents are the most useless thing ever, who ever drives a car without any venting active?

imo
The solution to the problem lazy, self-entitled people have in having to slouch to get into a normal car is to introduce a system that'll cost a thousand dollars or so to repair/replace when it inevitably breaks.

boooooooo stop doing new cars and getting sponsors. you have a zillion subs, you have an auction site, how greedy can you get. by the way i stopped watching immediately after typing and editing this comment.

Climate control vent sliders controlled by touch controls. Yeah, that s not gonna be a shite problem to fix in the future. I absolutely love how modern luxury vehicles come with the depreciation built right in.
