LINCOLN SOUTH COAST The 2020 Lincoln Aviator is a fantastic luxury SUV -- and today I'm reviewing the Lincoln Aviator to show you why. I'm going to show you all around the new Aviator and review its quirks and features, and then I'm driving the 2020 Lincoln Aviator

I was considering buying a new lux SUV for my TCP car service in 2020 and generally, I don't like too many distractions because my focus is on the clients, whether they are fine with the ride, seating, roominess and some distractions for them in the rear. This boat seems perfect, I hate BMW interiors and thought processes for the driver. I need an SUV to be just powerful enough to break from traffic and great on braking, handling of road surfaces, dry and wet. My other option is buying a 65, 000. Sprinter or Ford whatever but my buddies also have those and I'm not too impressed with how those autos pay for themselves over the first two years. I'm gettting older, I don't need an 8 cylinder, just an awesome sound system.

9: 40 with that door-open-chime. it sound's like on an airport and I instinctively wait for some woman voice informing me, that I've just opened the door. In europe this would be extended, so after warning about the open door, you'd get a warning that now you can be SEEN by other people and your privacy is compromised. Of course, before being able to open the door, you'd have to confirm that've read the 200 pages of privacy protection terms. Everytime you open the door or windows - and the car is not allowed to safe any personal data like seat positions unless you signed a data protection contract with Lincoln

Doug Your scores have nothing to do with your comments. Strange. i think you don't get the whole Aviator ambience. Everything in the interior makes sense. Finally when you rave about the car and say that Lincoln has become a real luxury brand, then at the end, you say pricing is high when it's only a Lincoln, it's demeaning for the brand and inconsistent from you. There are still people who think this new Lincoln brand is still a Ford. You folks reviewing these cars need to get on board and shake your previous perceptions to realize and acknowledge what has actually happened to Lincoln. .

I work in the detail department of a ford/Lincoln dealership and I had the pleasure of preparing an aviator for showroom display. Truly one of the nicest cars Ive ever been in. Not normally a SUV guy but I want one of these things bad. It didnt feel big and cumbersome on the road and its genuinely quick (same drivetrain as the explorer ST I believe. I felt like the most important person in town just sitting in the thing. Loved it

Of course this would have more HP than a BMW. Ford as a company has been making beffy engines that can tow thousands of pounds in trucks while BMW has been making suvs that is just for show with mostly front wheel drive and not having a full long back history of making mean engines like Ford has since the dawn of the engine when a customer went up to Henry Ford and said 'could this have more power? '

I don't know how you can state that this will compete with the likes of Audi and Range Rover when solely by watching your review i can see poor build quality and bad quality control. For example the leather on the steering wheel has a mosquito bite. This will never get pass the likes of land rover or audi. But still, the aviator looks great.

I truly believe once Lincoln unveiled the Continental's return in 2015-16) they noticed most people - mainly retirees - want simple, luxury vehicles without the all the needless packages to get them 10s on the drag strips. Very happy is going back to their originality & not pumping out duplicates like what Cadillac is doing.

Door panel accent lights looked like they were flickering. it pains me to ask this but why on earth would anyone buy an american suv with more wiring in it than a boeing 747? the wiring harness will kill this thing faster than any 10 dollar part that takes 5 hours to get to. maybe a lease. but buy one? not a chance.

Doug. You should dress with proper attire when reviewing your vehicles. Just a matter of mutual respect of the brand you review that requires something other then shorts, sneakers and a shirt you would jog with. Myself being a dealer manager, I would have not of lone you a vehicle for review with your appearance.
