ALL THESE VEHICLES ARE MONEY PITS AS THEY AGE They have a computer module for everything, 70 plus on average on a Mercedes and we all know how long plastic computer modules last. Cost can exceed 400 bucks a piece or more to replace. Oil changes costing 200 to 350 depending on what extent you allow them to service during your vehicles maintenance process. Just replacing a pair of struts can cost you 2 grand and up easily. If you have to have one Lease it and get it out of your system Land Rover is now owned by TATA ( india company & Cherry Chinese State owned company ) being built in China. The Chinese People have actually staged protest outside the company because of how bad and poor a product they are making and selling to them ALL WHILE LAND ROVER IS ADVERTISING HOW GREAT THEY ARE LOL If you buy any of these vehicles, better have deep pockets once the warranty ( and even before for things that aren't covered under the warranty ) People buy stuff like this and pay huge amounts of money for them, and in 3 or 4 years these vehicle depreciate over 30 to 50 percent and sometimes allot more. Just look at MRSP on a vehicle when it was New on a vehicle 3 or 4 yrs old now, you'll be shocked at how much the vehicle depreciated Saw a Range Rover Land Rover that the MSRP was well over a 100 grand and model between 3 and 4 yrs old they were asking less than 50 grand for ( with low miles ) People are suckers for these Status symbols, till they have to have them repaired or decide to trade them in or sell them. 20 to 50 grand ( depending on model ) lost in just a few yrs, that has got to hurt. But hey they rode to work and the kids soccer practice and grocery store in STYLE LOL

You don't need 26 way seats? Do you take many cross country road trips? As tall as you are I'm surprised you'd say that. I'm 6'4, and seats are my #1 complaint item in all cars. None of them have sufficient thigh support. (All seats actually. Its tough being tall in a world made for shorter people. I never looked at a Navigator before, but was salivating over those seats. A true revolution achievement by Ford. Exterior styling: hideous. Wait, pickup trucks now have power steps but luxury SUV from premium manufactures do not? Anyway, the off center latch is not as bad as rear window that don't go all the way down. One thing for a refresh but why build a new car like that?
reply

>why this latch is not in the center? Why its on the left? Well, maybe, MR. PERFECTIONIST, if you think about it a little more, youll understand, that you dont have a hand coming out of the center of your body. Your hand are on the sides. So, you open and pull up the cover with your left hand, and take heavy stuff (spare tire, for example) with your right hand. Placement of this latch makes perfect practical sense.

Doug, it's off centered because it makes it easier to get that tires out. Lift lid with left hand and get the tire with your right. At least in my car where the handle is in the middle, if I lift the lid with my left hand and get the tire with my right, my tire always hit the right side inside wall of the car because there is not enough space. In this car you won't have that problem.

With all due respect Doug, Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Range Rover do not compete with Lincoln and Cadillac. This is like saying Samsung competes with Apple. To an Apple user, it doesn't matter that Samsung is making great phones. They just love the Apple brand too much. Same goes for many BMW owners. They wouldn't consider replacing their old BMW with a newer Cadillac.

So earlier this week I've heard that the C63 AMG won't get a V8 for it's next gen in 2021-2022, instead using a hybrid 4 cylinder derivative from the A-class. Yet this thing will get a V8. Yeah, AMG is dead for me. They're only a former shadow of the once hardcore german tuner that helped to give birth to german super saloons and performance coupes

Towing capacity? Never thought I'd use it at time of purchase, my 2016 GLE had a factory installed hitch and 7200 lbs of towing capacity. Been working very well the last three months since our boat purchase. We tow about 6200 lbs fully loaded with fuel and water. The AWD is a great asset pulling the loaded trailer out of the water up the ramp.

Best third row button and process that I've ever seen in any three-row SUV. What about the Tesla Model X? It introduced this type of functionality four years ago on both the driver and passenger sides. And, getting in the third row is easier since you can stand up straight, thanks to the Falcon Wing doors. Love your videos. Thanks for doing what you do

My guess for the location of the handle for the under-trunk space is on the left would be because most people are right-handed and therefore they can use their left hand to open the cover with their left hand and find their right hand right in the middle of the space, so it's easy to grab something from the left as from the right. ?

yea it will be a big hit right between your forehead when you pay 75, 000 now plus the full coverage insurance and in 4 years it will have depreciated to 6, 000, yup it will be a big hit, lol i think it would be better to find a concrete wall and bang your head on it to knock some sense in it which won't hurt as much as it will later.
