honestley cars in the uk are mostly made for asthetics, than for actual preformance, but that is only because of insurance companies, even adding aesthetic modifications such as spoilers (which i know are for performance to, but not here in the uk: P) cost extra on insurance, just to put in perspective how much it is for insurance here in the uk, ive tried getting an austin metro, a pope one (with a massive roof, its ugly but mad, which will definatley not get stolen insured, and its 10, 000 a year for a 17 year old: /

Nope You clearly can't just admit to your self Japanese sports cars have better performance on the track compared to your american cars. Sure, V8's and stuff like that have more power, but they all have terrible handling, and would easily get passed by (let's say) a 370z. Also, you say I can't survive because I do not have the aptitude? 3 years ago I managed to move out of Philippines and come to Canada, I improved my English language skills and now I am in my last year of Highschool with a job.

I'm embarrassed to say I'm British, some of these cars are diabolical, and chavvy. I know it's about respecting others' pride and joys, but you can't get away from the fact that some of these cars are still junk.
I've also noticed that the Australian car scene is much better; people actually make their cars faster and handle better, whereas in the U. K, people just do aesthetic mods like adding spoilers, different coloured grills, headlight covers etc.

The 'stroke' comes from the strokes of the piston. Hence a two stroke still has an intake, compression, ignition and exhaust stage, they're just siamesed. In a three chamber design, there's three stages to each combustion cycle, so you could say three stroke, or, as there's not really any strokes at all in a circle, it's a no stroke. It's a funny old thing to try and define.

As a teenager, I wanted A hot rod, but would have been happy to have a Morris Minor. Lowered, Appleton Spotlights on the A Pillars, fender skirts, 1950s Cadillac hubcaps and whitewall tyres, of course. Keep it period, with tasteful hints of an early taildragger or bomb lowrider. Put in a simple radio cassette player, hidden as not to spoil the original look of the car.

Sadly though, there aren't enough good Fords any more. The Focus is now too soft and a bit ugly, the Fiesta looks like an Aston Martin crashed into hedge, and the Mondeo is just boring. Back in the day there was the Capri, Escort RS Cosworths, Sierra Cosworths, Focus RSs. even the Transit vans used to be cool, now they look like an Aston too!

I have to confess, there are some real heaps of shit with fart cannons on their 1 litre boxes where I live and it's truly embarrassing, that meet makes us look good compared to reality, and compare to other countries out car scene is terrible
