For the price of an s2k, I can find a miata and drop in a GM ls v8. The S2k has less potential - the Honda f engine in it has practixally been maxed out. 240hp out of a 2l engine is already pushing an engine pretty hard. A turbo defeats the point as the high compression ratio makes it unsuitable for turbocharging. I dont see many 2l turbo cars these days pushing more than 300hp. The aftermarket for the miata is way better. Plus, miatas have been produced in far greater numbers, so body parts should be a lot easier to find and a lot cheaper in case a car accident happens.

no, honda guys get bullied because they try to roll up stock on gtr's, mustang, chargers, etc lol then the stereotype of ricers is a lot of hondas (mainly civics) i don't mind the car, but bad stereotype owners of certain cars hurt the cars innocents lol and the s2000 in the states are pretty respected, but people over 6'0 can't fit in it lol struggles.

I don't get why people put so much crap on Honda they make great quality cars with some great motors and a decent racing pedigree to prove it. I bought my now ex-wife a Honda Si no V-tech but a nice little twin cam and it was a fun car to drive if it wasn't front wheel drive I would have happily spent money on it tuning it for more speed.

After driving an NA miata, I now understand how easy this is to do
(It apparently was just his clutch, but my clutch is almost brand new so I'm just missing. Might be from driving a Fiero before, it where it took both hands to put it in reverse sometimes if it was cold)

They really don't let u guys have much in Australia do they? When I think Aussie, I think Monaro, Valiant chrger, and Falcon but I suppose those are rare cars. Still in the US its usually a match against muscle cars. Not S2000's and Miatas

Serious question, would be appreciated to have helpful advise not abuse but looking into getting one of the other what would be recommended the Toyota Supra Single turbo, or the Honda S2000 2003 models? Anyone a petrol head?

The mx5 in the 1st round made exactly the same time as my 1. 8 16v naturally aspirated. I am surprised!
EDIT: And it ended with a broken clutch: ( Just like me, well, not sliding yet, but pedal wayyyy too heavy

one recommendation i have for you guys. quit looking towards your opponent during a race. you get distracted and you get the issues you experienced. not gonna spoil, so ya. focus on your time, nothing else _
