I'm attracted to their work. They work so hard to express themselves in the way we all would like to. My people skills aren't the greatest, in fact I have anger issues, but I'm enlightened to see these guys share the same passion and love for cars and what they're about, as I do. It's so fun to see them go to Japan and I drool at the sight of the s13, 14, and 15, yota chaser, altezza, r32, r33, r34, fairlady z, and more, and smile like a kid outside of the toy store just before it opens, peering through the glass.
The bond these two have and their skills motivates them to produce great, uncommercialized, and spoiled by tv, vids that I can shut the world out, to watch over and over again. I can't watch any movies over and over, not even the fast and furious movies. I watch a movie and it annoys me to see it again. I want new and not the same thing twice. These vids fill all my cravings and tease every sense. A car guys kinda vid.
I hope my son shares the same love of cars I do. I teach him what I can and maybe he'll grow up with his friends and share the memories we all have. thank you two so much for this art. It's like the import tuner and car magazines came to life. Looking forward to more.

Wow, happy tears at the end. My dad did something similar to me.
His colleague drove a 1989 Toyota Corona to the junkyard this spring. My father went back to the junkyard to get the car in the last minute before it got the license plates cut off. (The law is as soon the plates are cut on the property of a junkyard, it can never be registered again)
My parents visited me 3 days after, then father showed me a picture on his phone and said I know you like these cars, so I took a photo of it
I looked at the phone and noticed something familiar about the picture. It was parked outside my parents' house. I asked who's the owner?
Father replied You
I gave him a big hug and asked are you kidding me? over and over and then thanked him.
One of the best days of my life.

I have no real intrest in going to other countries.

Drive a boat around Venice.

Go check out japans car nuts. Ther shit sheds are still our poster cars.
In uk rx7, skylines, Fairlady 3000, all the nissan rwd stuff. 170or270? to 350?
Anyway they are usually treasured here. Then heres this video showing them just planted to ground as donors like thats how mainstream they are.
Mazda mx5 is treated pretty rough over here they are plentiful and cheap.
If we could only choose one nations cars to own no others ide choose japan.

I'm feeling shit, am having to tear down a studio I built, rebuilt, upgraded over the past 17 years all from nothing (beg borrow and steal, then bodge with bent nails and gaffa tape) and run for free for kids - aannnd we're being evicted thanks to cutbacks from the local authority, I'm getting chopped.
I just had to re-watch Kei To The City and this behind the scenes to remind me that those 17 years while lost, weren't all for nothing. I'm quite emotional right now. I you and your vids, thank you for all your good spirited content over the years.

for some unexplained reason i discovered mcm recently, i don't know how in the world i didn't know about it earlier.
i'm pretty lucky actually because i watch all these episodes one after another.
but this episode. the ending. must be the awsomest thing i have ever watched on any media.
and i'm not even that young.
and i teared up a bit at the end.
and again 5 minutes later when i watched it again.
i hope you guys keep on doing exactly what you are doing for a long time.

If you're wondering where the car is now, chances are it got stuck at the biohazard area at tge customs and got seized because of leaves or other organic items that were in the car that didn't get cleaned.
Australia has extremely strict regulations and restriction as what can get into the country.
If you remember the 2JZ Cressida, they got fined over 160 just because there was a dead leaf in the hood.
My guess would be that the fine was too large and they just left the Mira there.

I just started watching MCM. I got interested in the show after watching Roadkill! Kei to the City was the first one that I watched and I had the whole soundtrack in a playlist before I even finished watching the episode. It is really amazing to know that one of the hosts produced this music.

I must watch this once a month at least, mostly for the last 5 minutes. Without even being there you can see Marty is just over the moon. Moog mentions getting goose bumps. pretty sure the vast majority of your viewers do also, I know I do. Friendship at the highest level.
